Amy Hoffman, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who joined Anne Arundel Dermatology in January 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hoffman then began a 10 year career in neurophysiology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. An honors graduate at Anne Arundel Community College’s Physician Assistant program, she completed an elective clinical clerkship in Dermatology with Drs. Angela Peterman and Allan Harrington. She earned a Masters degree in Medical Science from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. Her postgraduate experience includes private occupational medicine as well as internal medicine at Franklin Square Hospital. Mrs. Hoffman completes over 100 continuing medical education hours every two years. She is currently the Vice President for the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants as well as a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
