Clinical Dermatology
Janet C. Benton, CRNP completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at George Mason University, and her masters in Nursing at George Mason University in collaboration with George Washington University School of Medicine. Her experience includes Fairfax Hospital in Annandale, VA in the Open Heart ICU, Greater Southeast Community Hospital, Washington, DC in the Emergency Department, and with Dr. Robert Berger, Waldorf, MD as a Nurse Practitioner, treating patients with dermatologic conditions, performing skin cancer screenings, shave and punch biopsies, and varying types of Intense Pulsed Light treatments. Ms. Benton has been with Southern Maryland Skin Specialists since 2007.
