Melissa A. Veneracion, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who has been with Anne Arundel Dermatology since 2004. She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she received both her Bachelors of Health Sciences degree and Masters of Physician Assistant degree. Melissa has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and has performed hundreds of skin cancer screenings and has assisted on over 6,000 skin cancer surgeries. To remain nationally certified, Ms. Veneracion completes over 100 continuing medical education hours every two years and takes a board certifying exam every 6 years. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
