Robert L. Handwerger, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland. His internship was in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. While completing a three year Fellowship in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he served as chief resident for two years. He was also an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Handwerger was a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. He was Board Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. He is now retired.
