Megan Jamison, M.D., is a board-certified Dermatologist. Dr. Jamison received her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha society. After medical school, she completed her internship year at George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Jamison then completed a four-year residency program with the Department of Dermatology at Medstar Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center, where she was Chief Resident. During her residency training, Dr. Jamison received the String of Pearls award for her dedication to teaching medical students in training.
Dr. Jamison treats simple to complex diseases of the skin by applying evidence-based treatments that take her patients’ goals into account. Her scope of practice includes medical dermatology for both children and adults, surgical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about the management and diagnosis of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Jamison spends her time with her husband, two children and dog.
