Janet C. Benton, CRNP

Janet C. Benton, CRNP completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at George Mason University and her masters in Nursing at George Mason University in collaboration with George Washington University School of Medicine. Her experience includes Fairfax Hospital in Annandale, VA in the Open Heart ICU, Greater Southeast Community Hospital, Washington, DC in the Emergency Department. Ms. Benton joined Southern Maryland Skin Specialists (SMSS) in 2007 working with A. Howland Hartley, MD as a Nurse Practitioner, treating patients with dermatologic conditions, performing skin cancer screenings, shave and punch biopsies, and varying types of Intense Pulsed Light treatment. SMSS merged with Anne Arundel Dermatology in 2010, where Ms. Benton has been treating patients in our Annapolis, Maryland office.
