COVID-19 Update: Cosmetics

A Message from Anne Arundel Dermatology and its Affiliate Offices

After careful consideration, Anne Arundel Dermatology and it’s Affiliate Offices will be rescheduling all cosmetic services until further notice.  We will do our best to keep everyone up to date when we know more. This closure is a precautionary action, taken so we can do our part in reducing the spread of COVID-19 in the community by following the social distancing recommendations, effective at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24th.  At this time, our offices are still open for General Dermatology care and Mohs patient care.

Anne Arundel Dermatology and it’s Affiliate Offices are following the state of Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee’s guidance, stating that providers may perform “medical procedures that are critically necessary for the maintenance of health for a patient.”

Our most important consideration is the health and safety of our patients, employees, and community.

The temporary pause of cosmetic procedures started on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020, and will continue until further notice. We will continue to re-evaluate this and hope to reschedule and treat for these concerns as soon as it is safe for our patients and the community.

If you had an appointment scheduled before Tuesday, March 24th, that would take place during the next 4 weeks, a member of our office should have reached out to you to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your support during this challenging time. Please continue to stay healthy and safe!

Thank you for your continued loyalty. We can’t wait to get back to servicing all of your cosmetic needs.
