Highly recommend Dr. Ferrera. The office staff and others providing care here are also very friendly and explain everything clearly. You don’t feel rushed through your visit and they listen to any questions you have and walk you through your treatment options. I’d tried a few other places before, I always felt like I was being rushed through the appointments and unheard. They always wanted to kinda just write me a topical for my psoriasis and send me out the door instead of actually talking to me about what’s working or not. Trust me, it’s worth the wait to get that new patient appointment.

Needless to say, no one looks forward to MOHS surgery - especially on their face. That being said, the team here was superb, from the Surgical Techs to the Doctors themselves. I like the fact that the team is largely made up of veterans who have been forward deployed in combat conditions. Dr. Dolan was professional, calm and clearly cared about my outcome. Everything was explained step by step, including post op instructions. Finally, they were very responsive to my follow up questions submitted by text. Highly recommend this practice. I especially appreciate the check in after my procedure to see how I was doing.

Good visit. Long wait due to new software system. Being in IT, the data was not ported over correctly leaving the staff to enter the data. Understood that even the first and last names were switched and the staff had to change themselves. Before the next office is upgraded, I suggest the implementation plan be changed to perform more robust data conversion testing. This suggestion is made based on my 30 years in IT. The visit with Kevin Blazer was great and his assistant was wonderful. They answered all my questions very well.

My family and I have been using Dermatology and Mohs for several years now. Making appointments is very easy, there are enough doctors so you're not waiting weeks to see someone. The staff is friendly, my experience has always been little to no wait time in the office and I've never felt rushed by the doctors while seeing them. Shout out to Dr. Kushner, he has a great bedside manner and is very intelligent. He was able to help me when several other derms from other practices were not. My Husband and I saw Dr Michele Brown and her entire staff today, for the very first time. So nice to be greeted by pleasant caring staff, as well as being worked up by their support staff, then Dr Brown came in. She was knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. Looked us both over. Took care of some skin tags and things. The whole thing under an hour. No waiting what an amazing concept for a doctor's office. We strongly recommend and we will be back in 6 months. UPDATE August 2026: Rating still stands. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology. The everyone is friendly and welcoming. I was able to get a new patient appointment within a month, and when I needed to be seen again, I was able to schedule an appointment within a short and reasonable amount of time. During the appointment, the Dermatologist listened to my concerns and discussed treatment options and procedures in a way that was easy to understand. I left each appointment feeling very well taken care of by the staff at Anne Arundel Dermatology.

I have been seeing Brittany Conrad for years and I love her! I appreciate all of her guidance and she’s fun to talk to! She’s an RN, a Licensed Esthetician, and a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and that makes me feel safe. I found her on the top 100 injectors as well. This was my first visit at a dermatologist. The experience was so much better than I could have imagined. The physician assistant quickly put me at ease, her energy was warm and welcoming, her knowledge And ability to articulate in language that I can understand was exceptional. Under procedure was very quick. I’m thankful that the physician assistant had the skill set that she did inclusive of the way that she spoke to me simply telling me details throughout each process, such as you will feel a little stinging, you will feel a little heat, you will feel a wire across your leg. She let me know what was happening throughout and just simply had overall great communication. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and the most important part is I walked out of there feeling all my needs were met.

Updated Review (Friday, 02/06/2026) First engagement (AAD Call Center – 5/5 stars) I contacted Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD) December 2025 to seek out a PA that I worked with 8yrs ago. That PA has since moved on to their own practice. The call center representative was gracious and listened well to what I needed (e.g. I had tight timeframe; they helped identify possible solutions). They identified a PA who was available during the timeframe and who had completed similar procedures, so that I could likely move more easily from the initial consultation to the procedure. Second engagement (Somil Metha, PA-C – 1/5 stars) My initial consultation at AAD-Greenbelt. I met with Somil Metha, PA-C. Initially, I felt well-served during the appointment, and I left a Google-review immediately afterward stating five stars. However, what I learned in the five hours following my appointment with Somil is that I was not actually served well during this appointment. Long story short: I was referred out to physicians outside of the network (why? I don’t know); it was implied that these referrals were warm-handoffs (when they were indeed cold referrals; I would have to start from scratch with a brand-new consultation); and the follow up for these referrals, along with the calls that afternoon to AAD to figure out ‘what is going on here?’ took up the remainder of that Monday (five hours). The run-around with the next steps, resulting in exhausted time, energy, and resources – truly a 0/5. Third/Fourth Engagements (Customer Service Center – 5/5 stars; Helena at the AAD-Greenbelt office – 20/5 stars) In the five hours after the consult with Somil, I spoke with the AAD Call Center twice. While I didn’t get the name of the first call center person I spoke to, he was kind, helpful, asked good clarifying questions to ensure he got things done right the first time. He provided clear timelines of when I could expect to hear back regarding my questions. The second person I spoke to works directly in the dermatology office where I first visited, Helena. Helena is a godsend. Within one call, she professionally acknowledged that things should have been handled differently for me earlier in the day, and got everything back on track. NOTE: it is a super skill to acknowledge when a company/person has dropped the ball, and to do so without throwing them under the bus, or airing grievances that the client doesn’t need to be a part of, AND to get things immediately back on track and moving forward – Helena did ALL this, and more, within about 15-20min of the call I had with her. Thank you, Helena. I was heard, acknowledged, and supported. Helena asked clarifying questions, literally hand-walked the issue at hand within the office to get the needed answers and next steps, and then got me immediately scheduled with a PA who was immediately available and also skilled in the procedure I needed. Fifth/Sixth/Seventh Engagements (Taj Richardson, PA-C – 20/5 stars; Taj’s support team, all 3 appts – 15/5 stars) From the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up: wow-o-wow, did I land in the most capable, supportive, professional care. The initial consultation was thorough. Taj is professional, kind, engaging, informative, and she listens and asks questions in a way that ensures all points have been covered and nothing is unclear to either her or the patient. The procedure itself – while I would guess that what, to me, felt like Taj putting in extra care and attention, is actually just her everyday professionalism and approach to her work, is how genuinely cared for I felt under her care. Here I am on the other side, 2.5wks later, and there is hardly even a scar; the wound site remained infection-free; and the area that needed to be treated is smooth, pain-free, and completely cleared. The staff that support Taj, from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the post-op follow-up: all incredible too, and follow in her professional, attentive, patient-engaged footsteps. I went here and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Plenty of chairs, and not a ton of people waiting. My appointment was fast. The front desk lady was nice. The assistant with the broken arm was professional, and PA-C Alyssa was very professional. She even explained things as she went along. My only issue is how bright the examination room is. I had to look down a bit just to avoid the light, but that's fine. They need the light to look at your skin. Overall, they get an A+
