Anna Kim, MD
Dr. Ann Kim is a dual board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. She received her medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. After medical school, she completed a medical internship at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama and subsequently her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Kim continued her education by completing a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship where she received advanced training in the management of skin cancer with the Mohs micrographic surgery technique and reconstructive surgery.
During her medical training, Dr. Kim published several peer-reviewed journal articles, presented research at national conferences, and coauthored a chapter in a dermatology textbook. Her clinical interests include surgical management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, cutaneous oncology, reconstructive surgery, and medical education. She maintains memberships with the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Kim attended the University of Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys fitness, hiking, yoga, collegiate football, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her family. Dr. Kim treats Mohs surgical patients at North Atlanta Dermatology offices in Duluth, Georgia.
