Luke Maxfield, DO, FAAD
Dr. Maxfield grew up in Colorado where he obtained a bachelor's in science at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. During this time he also worked as a medical research assistant at the University of Colorado. He went on to complete medical school at Lake Erie College in Bradenton, FL and completed an internship at The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and completed his dermatology residency through Campbell University.
Dr. Maxfield is board certified in Dermatology and serves on the Dermatology in Review advisory board. He is published in over 15 medical journals and has also served as a reviewer for numerous journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition, he has worked as a tutor and worked with multiple companies to create educational material and board review material for medical students and residents for both general medical and dermatology boards.
When he was younger Dr. Maxfield enjoyed multiple sports including football, grappling, and wrestling. Now he is staying active by surfing, exercising, and spending time with his wife and children.
