Anne Arundel Dermatology

Here at Anne Arundel Dermatology, we are committed to spreading the message of skin cancer awareness and keeping our community safe and healthy. This spring, we participated in many community outreach events spreading the message of skin cancer awareness and protection. We had a great time at each event! Here is a little recap from the month:

March 1st – B’More Healthy Expo

We had several clinicians work at the expo to promote skin cancer prevention and awareness. We also performed over 150 skin cancer screenings!

April 26th – Miles for Melanoma

The Surgery Center participated in this event raising money and promoting awareness for Melanoma. The event created a sense of pride and teamwork. Everyone did an amazing job, and we have some incredible athletes… Mike Davis won the entire event and male 1st Place, Elizabeth Stein won 1st place female, Andrew Bennett won 2nd place male, and Molly Warnock took 1st place female in her age. Congratulations to everyone who participated!

May 2nd – Health Walk at Crofton Meadows Elementary School

This is an annual event where students and staff walk laps around the school’s parking lot in a dual effort to raise funds and take on a healthier lifestyle. We had a team of people handing out t-shirts and information about sun protection.

May 3rd – Salisbury Health Expo

Our Kent Island team attended to promote skin cancer prevention and awareness; it was a great event with a good turn out!

May 4th – Valley Mall, Hagerstown

Our Hagerstown team attended to promote skin cancer prevention and awareness.

We are so thankful to have so many opportunities to get out into the community and spread skin cancer awareness and promote an all around healthier lifestyle. Thank you to all of our team members who got out there for us this spring.
