Meet Valery

Valery is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in and is passionate about general and cosmetic dermatology care. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercer University. Valery is a member of several professional organizations, including Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, and the Vietnamese American Healthcare Professionals Association of Georgia. 

Valery spent three years of hands-on experience in dermatology as a medical assistant and a Mohs histotechnician following her undergraduate program. She then started practicing dermatology as a physician associate. Valery’s areas of interest include treating acne, atopic dermatitis, and skin cancer.  

Valery is deeply committed to serving her community, with particular focus on supporting individuals who lack access to adequate care and counseling. She is proficient in Vietnamese and able to communicate effectively in both professional and community settings. Valery is dedicated to helping her patients feel confident, comfortable, and empowered in their own skin.
