Microneedling 101

Did you know your skin has the ability to naturally reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars or wrinkles all on its own?

Through a process called microneedling, also known as dermarolling, tiny needles puncture the top layer of skin and trigger the growth of new collagen, resulting in a diminished appearance of wrinkles, fine lines or scars. One reason our patients choose microneedling is because it is minimally invasive and delivers results that can be seen in as little as one procedure!

Microneedling can be done as often as every month to six weeks, and is not limited to just the face. The procedure can benefit every skin type and age group. From crow’s feet to acne scars, results include smoother, more radiant skin and reduced pores, stretch marks and scars.

We encourage you to consider microneedling as a solution to any of the following imperfections:

  • Rough skin texture
  • Wrinkles
  • Fine lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Laugh lines
  • Surgical scars
  • Acne scars
  • Chicken pox scars
  • Large pores
  • Sun damage
  • Aging skin
  • Stretch marks

And although microneedling is minimally invasive, we definitely suggest consulting a professional rather than attempting any at-home versions of this procedure.
