What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical body contouring procedure that freezes away fat using cryolipolisis technology. The specific technology delivers a controlled cooling, focusing only on destroying unwanted fat cells and leaves the skin above unaffected. The body naturally removes the frozen fat cells. The procedure is safe, effective and with minimal discomfort and noticeable results. To date, more than 7 million CoolSculpting procedures have been performed worldwide.

Know what to expect

The FDA cleared CoolSculpting for nine treatment areas, including abdomen, upper arms, flanks/sides, double chins, inner thighs, and outer thighs.  The procedure typically takes one hour per area and is virtually pain free. The provider applies a gel pad applicator to the area and the cooling starts immediately. The “cool” feeling subsides after 5-10 minutes. Most patients are able to read a book, watch television or take a nap during their treatment.

Little to no downtime

CoolSculpting is an excellent alternative to surgery. The procedure is very popular among both men and women with busy schedules, as there is little to no downtime required. Patients are able to return to their normal everyday activities following the procedure.

Feel good in your skin

CoolSculpting gives men and women the power to feel more comfortable in their own skin. The procedure is most effective on patients who are at or close to their ideal weight, but who have stubborn pockets of fat that don’t go away with diet and exercise.  As with all body contouring procedures, the best results are achieved in combination with a healthy lifestyle. Patients may see results as early as three weeks after their first treatment, with full results three months after their final treatment*.

*Results may vary for each patient.
