Meet Anna

Anna Shaw, MSN, APRN-C, is an experienced dermatology provider with 17 years of expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She provides care at Academic Alliance in Dermatology, where she is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care. 

Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program, at the University of South Florida. Prior to specializing in dermatology and aesthetics, she gained valuable clinical experience as a registered nurse at Tampa General Hospital, where she worked in the medical intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization lab, and post-anesthesia care unit. 

Her areas of expertise include skin cancer prevention and detection, rosacea, rashes, acne, psoriasis, eczema, and cosmetic dermatology. Anna is passionate about building trusted relationships with her patients and helping them feel confident in their care. 

She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is affiliated with the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Outside of the office, Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as swimming, cycling, Pilates, and yoga. She is grateful to practice dermatology in the Tampa Bay area.
