Ayo Adelanwa, MD

Dr. Adelanwa is a Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist and Dermatopathologist. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and pursued her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the same institution.

Her residency work was followed by a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Professionally, she shares a vast interest in the study of conditions that include adnexal tumors, inflammatory skin lesions and melanocytic neoplasms. She mentions that the study of such is not only of high importance but also can lead to better diagnosis support and treatment options for other ailments.

Every day, Dr. Adelanwa is grateful to be an integral member of the clinical team by providing diagnoses and insights that can aid in the proper management of patients and promote the best outcomes.

Outside of work, Dr. Adelanwa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking and camping. She also enjoys volunteering in her local community and at her church.
