Meet Dr. Kathleen Kramer

Dr. Kathleen Kramer is a board-certified dermatologist, who enjoys research and teaching, as well as procedural dermatology and dermatopathology. She graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in both biology and kinesiology. Dr. Kramer then attended Boston University, where she earned a Master of Medical Science. For medical school, she attended the Uniformed Services University, where she served as the chief academic officer for her class. Dr. Kramer completed internship training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, followed by a tour as a naval flight surgeon serving as primary care for helicopter squadrons. She was awarded the HSM Wing Pacific flight surgeon of the year and was deployed to the Western Pacific. Dr. Kramer then completed dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she served as chief resident and was nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. 

Dr. Kramer’s expertise spans a wide range of medical dermatology treatments, including treating acne, pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB), contact dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
