Meet Kristen

Kristen Armacost is an experienced esthetician at Maryland Dermatology Laser, Skin & Vein Institute, where she brings 17 years of expertise in esthetics, skincare, and advanced aesthetic treatments. A graduate of the Von Lee School of Esthetics, Kristen began her career in 2009 at a medical spa in Hanover, Pennsylvania, before expanding her experience in the cosmetics industry with YSL and Clinique. In 2019, she joined Maryland Dermatology Laser, Skin & Vein Institute, where she has continued to grow her clinical knowledge, strengthen her treatment skills, and stay current with emerging products and procedures. 

Motivated by her own experience with acne and acne scarring, Kristen is passionate about helping patients address a wide range of skin concerns with confidence and compassion. She takes pride in her extensive knowledge of skincare products and is dedicated to creating personalized treatment recommendations that support each patient’s individual goals. 

Kristen’s areas of expertise include HydraFacials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, Vanquish, Neo Emsculpt, body sculpting, acne treatments, texture improvement, anti-aging care, and treating pigment abnormalities. She is also committed to ongoing professional education and regularly participates in brand trainings to further enhance her knowledge of products and procedures. In recognition of her dedication to advanced skincare education, Kristen earned an Ambassador Certificate as a founding member of the SkinCeuticals Master Aesthetician Program in 2020.
