Meet Tao

Tao Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Shanghai Second Medical University. She worked as a registered nurse in Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, while obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing degree, with the certification as a family nurse practitioner, from Texas Women’s University in 2000. Ms. Kim spent two years with Eric Finzi, MD, PHD, gaining expertise in dermatology and cosmetic surgeries as an intern, before practicing as a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) independently. She was a part of the first group of dermatology certified nurse practitioners (DCNP) in 2010.

Ms. Kim believes that every patient deserves the best care and strives to make a difference in his or her life. She practices medical and cosmetic dermatology. Ms. Kim’s special interests in dermatology include treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, and melasma, as well as skin cancer prevention and early detection of melanoma. She is trained in the treatment of Botox and dermal fillers, as well as laser procedures.

Ms. Kim is fluent in English and Mandarin.
