Meet Shelby

Shelby is a certified physician assistant specializing in general dermatology. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biological Life Sciences and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Shelby began her career in family medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in primary care before transitioning to urgent care practice. Throughout both settings, Shelby gained experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions, sparking a deep interest and passion for the field.  

Shelby specifically enjoys acne management and performing thorough skin checks. She enjoys educating patients on sun protection and skin cancer prevention. Shelby also enjoys learning about the newest medical-grade skincare and sharing evidence-based products with her patients. She is excited to join the Southern Dermatology team, to further develop her skills, and to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients.
