I went here and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Plenty of chairs, and not a ton of people waiting. My appointment was fast. The front desk lady was nice. The assistant with the broken arm was professional, and Dr. Alyssa was very professional. She even explained things as she went along. My only issue is how bright the room is. I had to look down a bit just to avoid the light, but that's fine. They need the light to look at your skin. Overall, they get an A+

Today withOUT* anesthesia I had a sub-category of a squamous cell carcinoma removed, pretty small sized. Dr. Zook was more than willing to do it *with NO lidocaine. He used ice 3 times which may have helped (smart), removed it very quickly, it was next to painless for ME--but I've done this before and also had 6 or more teeth drilled without novocaine. He is friendly, cheerful, informative and a precision "cutter" as he got it all first try. I am very happy.

Where to even start, Frankie PA-C saved my husbands life correctly diagnosing him with an extremely invasive and fast growing form of skin cancer after we were ignored by three other providers. The office is always friendly, clean, and punctual. Frankie is the most competent and knowledgeable dermatologist out there. I also get treated by him with Botox and chemical peels and is he is the best of the best with that as well, and I have tried at least 5 other establishments for Botox and chemical peels. When he starts offering fillers I will surely be doing mine with Frankie as well. Highly recommend Frankie!

I am very faired skinned & have suffered with painful Roseaca, large pores & associated acne for years. Tried many remedies to no avail. But this practice & specifically Tonia nailed it. For the first time my skin is healing, inflammation is greatly reduced. Very few acne eruptions. I've had "aging" spots removed and my skin has more even toned. It has been a combination of medicine, following Drs. instructions & patience that has produced results. I'm now 71 going on 50! I had my second microneedling session with Cam, and it was very relaxing. The topical numbing made the procedure feel like a relaxing skin scrub. I am already seeing great results since we added on the PRP. The procedure itself is quick and easy with a quick healing time that looked like a mild sun burn. Dr Harvey has done 2 Moh’s skin surgeries (for skin cancer) on me… one on my nose (down the whole center of my nose in a petal pattern) and one on my cheek. While the initial surgical incisions and stitches were shocking to see immediately after the surgeries, the final scars are barely visible.

Best woman of color dermatologist there is! Hands down! I started struggling with acne again in my 30s, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Boswell for about two years now. One thing I’ve learned is that acne treatment is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. It took some time, patience, and trial and error for us to figure out what worked best for my skin, but we finally got there! I can proudly say I have ZERO bumps on my face, and we’re now working on my hyperpigmentation! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. My family and I have been using Dermatology and Mohs for several years now. Making appointments is very easy, there are enough doctors so you're not waiting weeks to see someone. I would highly recommend the main providers here! I feel listened to and I trust them. Their staff however, I have concerns with. During my last visit, while I was speaking to the doctor, the two medical assistants in the room were whispering and laughing; it was highly inappropriate. Shortly thereafter, I was called back into the office because said medical assistants lost the paperwork I had already signed. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes because "no one could find the paper I was talking about", it came out that they also lost my insurance information and I had to start over providing everything. Additionally, during a recent phone call, I mentioned that I was unable to pull up the website for the medication I am taking, and I didn't know the pharmaceutical company's phone number off the top of my head. The staff on the other line got an attitude immediately, saying "so you don't remember the website, you can't find the phone number, real helpful". I don't appreciate being spoken to that way. I would love to continue coming to this practice but will need to see improvements in the way non-doctor staff conduct themselves.

Scheduling the appointment was super quick and easy. As a new patient I anticipated it would be a few weeks wait to be seen but to my surprise they had availability as soon as a day ahead. I scheduled a skin check with Dr. Francis who ended up freezing a spot and sending another one to pathology. She took her time and genuinely listened to my concerns. I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.

Wonderful, attentive staff. Check-in is an easy process, with a reasonable wait time to be seen. PA listened to all of the concerns and provided multiple options for treatment. Overall, fantastic visit and I highly recommend this office for their service and care.

I sincerely appreciate PA Aderemi-Ibitola for diagnosing my father with Bullous Pemphigoid, especially after multiple doctors in the ER were unable to determine the cause.
