Margaret Weiss, MD
Dr. Margaret A. Weiss is a former Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she attended medical school and completed her dermatology residency. Prior to that, she attended Princeton University. Board-certified, she is a member of the leading society in the field of venous diseases, the American College of Phlebology, and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Her teaching and publications in the field of sclerotherapy of leg veins have led to numerous interviews and TV appearances, including "Good Morning, America" and "Health Week" on PBS. Dr. Weiss' other interests include laser surgery , and cosmetic dermatology such as BotoxCosmetic®, and filler injections. She has served as President of the Maryland Dermatologic Society. She coauthored her textbook, "Vein Diagnosis & Treatment: A Comprehensive Approach," published by McGraw-Hill in 2001, with Drs. Robert Weiss and Craig Feied.
