Monica Valentin, MD

Board-certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Valentin’s scope of practice includes medical (both pediatric and adult), surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Valentin is a native of Fairfax County, VA. She earned her B.A., with highest honors, from Rutgers University, and her M.D. at New Jersey Medical School.  Dr. Valentin then completed a combined residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident. During her residency she received training from Children’s National Medical Center, National Institutes of Health, and INOVA Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center.

As a member of the American Academy of Dermatology she has presented at multiple state and national conferences and authored multiple manuscripts in scholarly journals on dermatology.

She looks forward to treating patients of all ages in our new Fairfax office.
