Sammy Kang, MD

Sammy Kang, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. Dr. Kang completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and residency in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He has authored several articles in scholarly medical journals, and has presented cases at the Maryland Dermatologic Society’s annual meetings. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. His practice focuses on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Kang has a special interest in early detection and surgical treatment of melanoma and non melanoma skin cancers. Also specializing in cosmetic dermatology services, he performs dermal fillers, Botox, and IPL treatments.
