Meet Kelsey

Kelsey Reed, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Anne Arundel Dermatology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Medical Diagnostics, from the University of Delaware, then completed a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Maryland and a post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Maryville University. Kelsey began her healthcare career with Anne Arundel Dermatology, where she developed an early passion for the specialty, and later practiced as a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital caring for critically ill patients and strengthening her clinical and diagnostic skills.  

Kelsey’s expertise includes medical and pediatric dermatology; skin cancer detection and screening; preventive skin care and skin health; and treating acne and acne scarring, psoriasis, eczema (atopic dermatitis), and rosacea. She has been recognized for academic and clinical excellence, including induction into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and receipt of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Kelsey is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau. She is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based dermatologic care while empowering patients to take an active role in their skin health.
