What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure that removes the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). Dermaplaning is used to minimize fine lines and wrinkles and increase cell turnover in the skin. This treatment is sometimes used before chemical peels to help prepare the skin for maximum absorption. It is also a great treatment to get monthly as it helps products at home to penetrate deeper into the skin. Make-up application goes on smoother and provides a better, overall healthy look.
