Brandy Compton is a certified family nurse practitioner, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama.
Brandy began her nursing career as a bedside registered nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, caring for patients recovering from a broad range of surgical procedures, including plastic surgery, otolaryngologic, gynecologic, and dermatologic surgeries. Her experience caring for patients following Mohs surgery inspired a particular interest in dermatology and deepened her appreciation for the positive impact specialized skin care can have on a patient’s health, confidence, and overall well-being. This passion ultimately led her to pursue advanced practice nursing and a career in dermatology.
Brandy's clinical interests span a broad range of dermatologic conditions, with particular interests in hair loss, acne, and pigmentation disorders. She is committed to helping patients understand the importance of achieving and maintaining healthy skin while addressing both medical and aesthetic concerns. Brandy emphasizes identifying and treating underlying conditions, restoring skin balance, and developing individualized skin care regimens as essential foundations for safe, effective, and lasting results.
Brandy combines evidence-based dermatologic care with a compassionate, personalized approach. Her goal is to help patients feel comfortable and confident while enhancing their natural beauty and supporting their long-term skin health. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.
