What Does Fraxel Treat?
Fraxel is a fractional laser available in both non-ablative and ablative options, so your provider can tailor treatment to your skin and goals. Both approaches create thousands of microscopic treatment zones beneath your skin's surface, leaving surrounding tissue intact to support faster healing. This targeted method triggers your body's natural repair process to produce new collagen and replace damaged skin from the inside out
It’s most often used for sun damage, brown spots, acne or surgical scarring, fine lines, and uneven texture on the face, neck, chest, or hands. Since each treatment session focuses on a portion of the skin rather than the entire surface, your provider will typically recommend a short treatment series spaced a few weeks apart to see full results.

I cannot recommend Dr. Sylvia Suarez enough!!! She is thorough, caring and personable. I have been going to her for over a decade and have ongoing issues with sun damaged skin and precancerous lesions (results of being fair skinned and living an active outdoor life). Twice she has diagnosed squamous cell carcinomas and referred me to an excellent surgeon (Dr. Rosemary Liu) to have them removed. Since first becoming a patient of Dr. Suarez, I have moved out of the area but still eagerly drive an hour to continue to see her. She is worth every minute, and more, in the car for me .Rock Star Dermatologist!!! And her “Right Arm, Ha Tran, follows in her footsteps.

We have been going to Dr. Kang many years. He is a great doctor. The front office staff was not pleasant or welcoming except for the wonderful young woman who checked us in. She made up for their lack of welcoming. There's no reason why the women in the front office can't be nicer. They seem to be too busy chatting with each other.

Here’s a revised version: I had an excellent experience at Academic Alliance in Dermatology West Largo. I was there today to have my second squamous cell carcinoma removed from my scalp, as well as another one removed from my leg. The building is brand new, exceptionally clean, and very welcoming. Dr Harvey has done 2 Moh’s skin surgeries (for skin cancer) on me… one on my nose (down the whole center of my nose in a petal pattern) and one on my cheek. While the initial surgical incisions and stitches were shocking to see immediately after the surgeries, the final scars are barely visible.

My son and I both go here and like the doctors and location. No traffic and is easy to get into the office with plenty of parking. I had an issue with a refill and it sucks to be wrong but when you are, you Def gotta fix it. Orginal review, I had a refill issue and CVS showed me a failed attempt at a refill 1 week after it was called in on 1 of my prescriptions. But it seems maybe this was their mistake as AAD shows 1 prescription called in. Besides the confusion, I didn't know you have 1 year to get your refill so that trumps all and is why I couldn't get it filled. I tried 1 month after prescribed date the next year. This seems it was my mistake and CVS misinformation by them. Wouldn't be the first time but overall I should of got my refill before 1 year mark. Which I had no clue their was a time frame for refills.

As an established patient of Academic Alliance in Dermatology, I continue to be pleased with Dr. Lam and his staff. The office is run on a timely basis, is comfortable, and very clean. Since Dr. Lam was booked out, and I wanted an appointment fairly soon, I accepted an appointment in the Tarpon office with his PA, Morgan. I was exceedingly pleased with Morgan's professional expertise and her sensitivity to my anxiety. She explained the skin condition clearly and offered me medical advice on what could be done to treat it. I chose to have her shave off the seborria keratosis patch on my skin. Morgan is very skilled, and the process went very smoothly. She explained the aftercare. Morgan's assistant, Taliah, was very attentive and proficient.
