I think the doctor and both nurses who completed my small fiber neuropathy biopsy deserve some sort of award for how absolutely beautifully they did. I am decently medically complex and had a biopsy that some dermatologist never even do. She even made me aware she’s never done a SFN biopsy before but is going to do everything by the instructions that the kits company provided and took every single step very very importantly. They worked as a well oiled machine and made my experience a lot more comfortable given how nervous I felt. Absolutely 10/10 experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better appointment

Best woman of color dermatologist there is! Hands down! I started struggling with acne again in my 30s, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Boswell for about two years now. One thing I’ve learned is that acne treatment is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. It took some time, patience, and trial and error for us to figure out what worked best for my skin, but we finally got there! I can proudly say I have ZERO bumps on my face, and we’re now working on my hyperpigmentation! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I can't thank this office enough I had to pay out of pocket to get diagnosed and to get a biopsy and the rates were very reasonable for someone with no insurance I'm extremely thankful for that. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Dr Johnson and his team did a fabulous job of treating it it was a painless procedure done reasonably quick and I feel very good about it I'm extremely thankful for Dr Johnson and his team. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend they are fabulous. Good communication aggressive with getting insurance situated and really good about getting an appointment as soon as possible

I’ve been to this dermatology practice now twice to see Dr Liu. I’m very happy that my GP referred me to them! I grew up in Miami and got more than my fair share of sun in the days when we used lotion to magnify the sun’s effect rather than to protect our skin. as such, I’m prone to skin cancer, and Dr Liu, who’s a Mohs surgeon, is an ideal dermatologist for me. And he’s just terrific: bright, thorough, competent and caring. I completely trust him as my doctor… and btw, he’s a heck of a nice guy too! Beyond that, the practice is very well run. The people are friendly, they know what they’re doing, and they get me in with the doctor right on schedule. Well done to all of you and thank you!

I have almost never had such a wonderful experience at a doctor's office. Lina Weber was kind, funny, very knowledgeable, and I can tell she goes above and beyond often.. she certainly did for me. I have been scared to DEATH over something and my primary sent me to a dermatologist which really wasn't even the right place for me. Luckily, I also had a Dermatology need as well so I can continue going back, but for this other issue she took initiative to send an order for me to have further testing done and offered to go over the results with me and get me to the right doctor if needed. Luckily, it ended up being nothing horrid. She made me feel heard. That was huge. I despise going ro doctors because I feel I get the brush off often but Lina Weber is one of the good ones. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much Dr. Weber!

I had my first and second visits with Courtney Fairchild. She is excellent! I shared with her some previous, (negative,) experiences I had with different dermatologists in Texas. She listened to me and understood my concerns. She, (and everyone else there,) were OUTSTANDING! My wait times were very short, lab results quick, follow up appointment was quick, and the treatment was quick and almost painless. The front office staff is very nice and the waiting, exam, treatment, and restrooms were very clean. This was a fantastic experience.

Updated Review (Friday, 02/06/2026) First engagement (AAD Call Center – 5/5 stars) I contacted Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD) December 2025 to seek out a PA that I worked with 8yrs ago. That PA has since moved on to their own practice. The call center representative was gracious and listened well to what I needed (e.g. I had tight timeframe; they helped identify possible solutions). They identified a PA who was available during the timeframe and who had completed similar procedures, so that I could likely move more easily from the initial consultation to the procedure. Second engagement (Somil Metha, PA-C – 1/5 stars) My initial consultation at AAD-Greenbelt. I met with Somil Metha, PA-C. Initially, I felt well-served during the appointment, and I left a Google-review immediately afterward stating five stars. However, what I learned in the five hours following my appointment with Somil is that I was not actually served well during this appointment. Long story short: I was referred out to physicians outside of the network (why? I don’t know); it was implied that these referrals were warm-handoffs (when they were indeed cold referrals; I would have to start from scratch with a brand-new consultation); and the follow up for these referrals, along with the calls that afternoon to AAD to figure out ‘what is going on here?’ took up the remainder of that Monday (five hours). The run-around with the next steps, resulting in exhausted time, energy, and resources – truly a 0/5. Third/Fourth Engagements (Customer Service Center – 5/5 stars; Helena at the AAD-Greenbelt office – 20/5 stars) In the five hours after the consult with Somil, I spoke with the AAD Call Center twice. While I didn’t get the name of the first call center person I spoke to, he was kind, helpful, asked good clarifying questions to ensure he got things done right the first time. He provided clear timelines of when I could expect to hear back regarding my questions. The second person I spoke to works directly in the dermatology office where I first visited, Helena. Helena is a godsend. Within one call, she professionally acknowledged that things should have been handled differently for me earlier in the day, and got everything back on track. NOTE: it is a super skill to acknowledge when a company/person has dropped the ball, and to do so without throwing them under the bus, or airing grievances that the client doesn’t need to be a part of, AND to get things immediately back on track and moving forward – Helena did ALL this, and more, within about 15-20min of the call I had with her. Thank you, Helena. I was heard, acknowledged, and supported. Helena asked clarifying questions, literally hand-walked the issue at hand within the office to get the needed answers and next steps, and then got me immediately scheduled with a PA who was immediately available and also skilled in the procedure I needed. Fifth/Sixth/Seventh Engagements (Taj Richardson, PA-C – 20/5 stars; Taj’s support team, all 3 appts – 15/5 stars) From the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up: wow-o-wow, did I land in the most capable, supportive, professional care. The initial consultation was thorough. Taj is professional, kind, engaging, informative, and she listens and asks questions in a way that ensures all points have been covered and nothing is unclear to either her or the patient. The procedure itself – while I would guess that what, to me, felt like Taj putting in extra care and attention, is actually just her everyday professionalism and approach to her work, is how genuinely cared for I felt under her care. Here I am on the other side, 2.5wks later, and there is hardly even a scar; the wound site remained infection-free; and the area that needed to be treated is smooth, pain-free, and completely cleared. The staff that support Taj, from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the post-op follow-up: all incredible too, and follow in her professional, attentive, patient-engaged footsteps. Taj & Staff: You are all appreciated.

I cannot recommend Morgan Cheripko at Katz Dermatology highly enough. After months of struggling with a persistent forehead skin condition and seeing little improvement, I sought a second opinion with Morgan. She carefully evaluated my skin and changed my treatment plan and the difference has been incredible. Over the following months, my forehead improved dramatically. At my most recent follow-up, only a few small spots remained and today my forehead is virtually clear with no active spots. Looking back at the before-and-after photos in my chart, the improvement is remarkable. What I appreciated most was that Morgan was willing to reevaluate my condition instead of simply continuing a treatment that wasn't working. She explained what to expect, answered my questions, and created a treatment plan that ultimately gave me the results I had been hoping for. If you're struggling with a persistent condition or have been told one diagnosis but aren't getting better, I highly recommend seeing Morgan Cheripko. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received and for helping me get my confidence back.

I have been going to this practice for several years now. Dr. Giblin is who I see primarily and he is very knowledgeable and discusses treatment options very clearly, and makes sure the patient’s questions and concerns are addressed. I have also used Dr. Krivda who performed a skin cancer surgery for me. He did an excellent job and you cannot see any evidence of a scar. All the staff are friendly, the office scheduling process is easy and minimal wait time once you arrive for your appointment. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience with Danielle Johnson, PA-C at Virginia Dermatology. Scheduling an appointment through the patient portal was very easy and was able to be seen within a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when the office even called to offer me an earlier appointment. When I arrived, check-in was quick and I had hardly any wait time. I only waited a few minutes before Danielle came into the room. She quickly diagnosed the spot on my forearm that had been bothering and concerning me, and she also took the time to look at a few other areas I was worried about. What impressed me most was that she was able to remove the spot right then and there during the same visit, which I truly appreciated. You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

This is an amazing office. The employees are always so nice and helpful. Ken Johnson is so caring and doesn’t rush. Also his nurse Emma is so gentle, kind and very informative with all the you need to know. Both doctors and nurses make the visits and surgeries easier to handle.

Fast and efficient! Usually you wait months for a dermatology appointment. I was able to make one for the next day and the nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and had a treatment plan ready to go.

I highly recommend Dr. Zook. He is very confident in his physician expertise and doesn't discriminate against minorities. I noticed that he has a very diverse staff working under his leadership, which is inspiring. He is not afraid to care for obese patients. Very kind and thorough when explaining things to you.
