First time ever getting any cosmetic work done I was nervous and excited. But Dr Dan was super comforting and walked me thru everything before doing it. He also took interest in what I wanted to look like and decided on the best option for me. I love it and will return for more in the future!

5 stars plus! The front desk person was polite, courteous and efficient. The wait to see the doctor was less than 10 minutes. The doctor was great- very knowledgeable, careful & made sure that I was comfortable while explaining everything she was doing. She only did what she was confident doing & advised that further resolution should be pursued by a surgeon.

Angela Smith is excellent and really value your Healthcare. I would absolutely recommend her to everyone.

Great service and treatment from start to finish. I had not been in for 7 years and it took less than 30 minutes to check in / update all my info, get called back, discuss 3 conditions with the nurse, see Dr. BLAZER and get... prescriptions sent for one, a follow up scheduled to get a cyst cut off next week, and get a small wart frozen off....and check out and walk out the door. Dr Blazer had seen me several times years ago and offered multiple treatment options to me which I quickly decided on for all 3 things. I appreciate that they value my time as much as I do. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable as a cash patient. The follow up was easy to schedule and within 3 business days of todays appointment. Could not ask for better service.

UPDATE August 2026: Rating still stands. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology. The everyone is friendly and welcoming. I was able to get a new patient appointment within a month, and when I needed to be seen again, I was able to schedule an appointment within a short and reasonable amount of time. During the appointment, the Dermatologist listened to my concerns and discussed treatment options and procedures in a way that was easy to understand. I left each appointment feeling very well taken care of by the staff at Anne Arundel Dermatology.

Amy is truly exceptional! From the very first consultation to the procedure itself, she was absolutely incredible. Her bedside manner is unmatched, her communication is clear and reassuring, and she made me feel completely comfortable and confident every step of the way. She’s professional, kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about her patients. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t trust my dermatologic care to anyone else. If you’re looking for the best of the best, Amy is it—cannot recommend her highly enough!

I needed stitches removed. My wait time was a little long but the nurse who removed the stitches was very nice. She did a good job and helped me with another area that needed a new covering that I can’t reach myself. I didn’t need to see the doctor this time which was fine.

Bill Kras has been taking care of my children for several years and I am very pleased with his approach to pediatric dermatology. He and his staff always make the kids feel comfortable. A derm exam can make kids nervous because they are not used to the whole draping process, feel like they're under the spotlight, etc. Everyone is very reassuring and they always treat my kids with respect, thoughtfully answering any questions they may have. Recommend highly for kids and adults.

I had a terrific experience at the Westminster location. Arriving for mohs surgery, the entire visit was efficient and professional. With Christen the assistant and Dr. Swan, they were a great team! Been going here for years. McDaniel practically erased the dog bite scar I have on my lip. I was terrified to get any procedures done, but after lots of research I settled on Dr. McDaniel because of his experience and expertise. The current doctor was personally trained and shadowed by him for quite some time before he fully retired. She clearly love what she does and she’s very very skilled at it. The skincare gal is also amazing! The whole staff makes the experience top notch.

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.

I enjoyed the hydrofacial,the results were awesome,everything I was told would happen did,my skin looked beautiful.

From making an appointment, to arriving at the medical office and meeting with the doctor, Anne Arundel Dermatology is excellent from beginning to end. Dr. Dawn is professional, and an excellent surgeon who shows great concern and care for her patients. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor.

Friendly and courteous staff

I had to have a carcenoma removed, and it was easy and painless.

They are great! My injector, Brittany is wonderful, sweet and very easy to tallk to. She does what You want. They went above and beyond today regarding a gift certificate purchased. Wish they had an office North Knox! 😊

Pleasant experience overall. My doctor was Nikki she was quick but made me feel like she cared. And she touched me without gloves and that made me feel better like I didn't have the plague. overall -very nice experience. I felt uncomfortable about getting undressed for the full body check but she made it a breeze my prescriptions were delivered to me and I am very happy and will return. The front desk was nice and oh they will get that co pay from you on the spot so have that money.

Best woman of color dermatologist there is! Hands down! I started struggling with acne again in my 30s, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Boswell for about two years now. One thing I’ve learned is that acne treatment is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. It took some time, patience, and trial and error for us to figure out what worked best for my skin, but we finally got there! I can proudly say I have ZERO bumps on my face, and we’re now working on my hyperpigmentation! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I’m beyond happy with my results and so thankful for Dr. Boswell and her team. Highly recommend! ❤️

Did not have to sit but a few minutes. Appointment was at 8:30, I arrived about 8:35 and was back in room within 10 minutes. Took only about 30 minutes in and out. Had wart removed. Excellent service. Recommend this place.

Dr Nina Schram is the most pleasant, professional And thorough dermatologist! I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen, and she always gives me as much time as I need to do my annual full body skin check. She is quite personable and shows a genuine interest in all aspects of my life and health.

I had a wonderful experience with Danielle Johnson, PA-C at Virginia Dermatology. Scheduling an appointment through the patient portal was very easy and was able to be seen within a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when the office even called to offer me an earlier appointment. When I arrived, check-in was quick and I had hardly any wait time. I only waited a few minutes before Danielle came into the room. She quickly diagnosed the spot on my forearm that had been bothering and concerning me, and she also took the time to look at a few other areas I was worried about. What impressed me most was that she was able to remove the spot right then and there during the same visit, which I truly appreciated. Danielle was compassionate, friendly, and has an excellent bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment and provided very clear aftercare instructions before I left. I highly recommend Danielle Johnson, PA-C to anyone looking for knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely caring dermatology care.

This was my first visit at a dermatologist. The experience was so much better than I could have imagined. The physician assistant quickly put me at ease, her energy was warm and welcoming, her knowledge And ability to articulate in language that I can understand was exceptional. Under procedure was very quick. I’m thankful that the physician assistant had the skill set that she did inclusive of the way that she spoke to me simply telling me details throughout each process, such as you will feel a little stinging, you will feel a little heat, you will feel a wire across your leg. She let me know what was happening throughout and just simply had overall great communication. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and the most important part is I walked out of there feeling all my needs were met.

I can't thank this office enough I had to pay out of pocket to get diagnosed and to get a biopsy and the rates were very reasonable for someone with no insurance I'm extremely thankful for that. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Dr Johnson and his team did a fabulous job of treating it it was a painless procedure done reasonably quick and I feel very good about it I'm extremely thankful for Dr Johnson and his team. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend they are fabulous. Good communication aggressive with getting insurance situated and really good about getting an appointment as soon as possible

I have been going here for years and seeing Dr Primka and his staff are the best. They are very professional and really good. They and the other staff are friendly ,kind and courteous!! On my first visit years ago Dr Primka walked in and in 5 minutes he had diagnosed me with a genetic disease that causes basal skin cancers and other problems. I had been trying for years to find out what was causing my problems and had been to several Drs. It's a hour and half drive for me to get to the office ,and my home is only 10 minutes from a dermatologist where I live , but the drive is well worth it when you have a great doctor !!!!

Quality of Care Knowledge and understanding of the skin conditions, medications (prescribed and OTC). Poise accuracy with focus target defiance with clarity between physician and patient. Awesome physician and patient relationships of chronic complex dermatological conditions which takes time and patience for clearance. Very kind, focused and accurate with primary and secondary diagnoses. Listens, ask open-ended questions to the patient to ensure that patient -physician relationship is on-going in sharing patient care. Awesome specialist as dermatologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boswell for some years and have always been impressed by her skill and professionalism and that of her staff. She has spotted and treated numerous pre-cancerous spots on me, and I trust her. I followed her to Atlantic and have found the staff there equally friendly and professional. I never wait to see Dr. Boswell, and my appointments are never rushed.

Overall great experience. The service they use to book appointments and acquire documents online works fast and smoothly. Front desk was warm and welcoming. I waited about ten minutes which was no big deal. The physician quickly assessed my concerns and made sure I understood her explanation/diagnosis. I booked another appointment as a follow up and was on my way. My only suggestion would be maybe some light music playing in the waiting room. A little too quiet in there:) They offer a wide variety of services and this review was only for a skin cancer check.

This is a very "in demand" dermatology office so I was very surprised when I called and they were able to fit me in on the next day. Everyone was prompt with their scheduled times and Alexandra Stewart was very nice and efficient with my full body scan. She addressed all of my concerns quickly and let me know her advice, which I am following. She also froze off several pre-cancerous areas and biopsied one questionable area. All in about 15 minutes. I could not ask for more.

Great experience for removal of basal cell lesion. Friendly, instructive and quick! Entire experience took less than 45 minutes, in the door and back out. Provided information throughout, and a very caring attitude. I didn't enjoy the medical reason I was there but the P.A., assistants, and front desk all worked together to make it "painless."
