What an outstanding experience this was. It is always alarming when you hear the word cancer. That strikes terror. This facility is just wonderful. They made me feel comfortable. listened, provided all the information regarding the procedure. My cancer is gone and now the healing begins. My suggestion is preparation is everything. Make sure you have all that you need for the first 24 to 48 hrs. Ask questions, write down your own questions. do exactly as prescribed and you will be great. Dr. Monte, his assistants, the front desk are consummate professionals. The waiting area is clean and inviting along with a coffee station. My word to everyone. WEAR YOUR SUNBLOCK. no tanning beds. and contact them if ever needed.

I recently had Moh’s surgery. I was very pleased with the time the surgical assistant took to explain the procedure and answer all my questions. Dr. Marquart has a wonderful bedside manner that put me completely at ease. The whole procedure went very smoothly and all the staff were so kind and efficient. Dr. Marquart’s PA completed the stitches and was wonderful as well. This surgical team was awesome!

Have gone there over many years. They are an exception dermatology practice, from Dr. Primka to Sandra Vaughn and today Lindsay. Great support staff. I trust this practice.

Update: 9/23/26 Had a much better experience yesterday. Natalie and Dr. Mclanahan were wonderful in both prep and procedure. I really appreciate the redemption here. Still a bit bummed that my prior feedback was never addressed or acknowledged by anyone but happy to update my review here to be positive as a result of a much better experience this past visit. Horrible. I scheduled a simple procedure here and reviewed with scheduling multiple times so as to avoid wasting my time. Showed up today for my appointment only to spend 4-5 mins total to be told I then needed to schedule an appointment in September. On top of this, Tami, was borderline unprofessional and had a horrible attitude the entire time simply because their iPad wasn’t saving patient information. When I explained that I was surprised and disappointed about no procedure taking place, she made it my problem by saying “you spoke to a call center”. Actually, I spoke to multiple people at your office in at attempt to not waste my time and money for a procedure that literally should take 15-20 mins. On top of taking hours out of my day only to be told I needed to schedule something months out, I spent $80 on co pay. Beyond agitated at the lack of professionalism, waste of time and money grab that this turned out to be.

I would highly recommend the main providers here! I feel listened to and I trust them. Their staff however, I have concerns with. During my last visit, while I was speaking to the doctor, the two medical assistants in the room were whispering and laughing; it was highly inappropriate. Shortly thereafter, I was called back into the office because said medical assistants lost the paperwork I had already signed. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes because "no one could find the paper I was talking about", it came out that they also lost my insurance information and I had to start over providing everything. Additionally, during a recent phone call, I mentioned that I was unable to pull up the website for the medication I am taking, and I didn't know the pharmaceutical company's phone number off the top of my head. The staff on the other line got an attitude immediately, saying "so you don't remember the website, you can't find the phone number, real helpful". I don't appreciate being spoken to that way. I would love to continue coming to this practice but will need to see improvements in the way non-doctor staff conduct themselves.

Doctor Malone performed Mohs surgery on the right side of my neck in early FY 2026 to treat a large patch of basal cell carcinoma. She did an absolutely amazing job, top notch, strongly recommend!

Got a skin tag removed that was in a very delicate area on my body. Both the nurse & the doctor explained everything directly and communicated everything as it was going happening! Highly recommend!-

Excelente staffing really polite

Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which should be available in about 10 days. Thank you to Dr. Zook and his assistant for their professionalism, expertise, compassion, and excellent care. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Every year I get in there to get checked out. Been going to them for about 10 years. The always do a thorough check and the Doc's are very pleasant to deal with. As a person who has never used sunscreen very much, it's a big deal! Life is good, enjoy the days you are given in good health!

Staff members are polite and helpful and there is very little wait time for appointments. Dr. Giblin never gives up when working to solve my concerns and improve my condition. He is very clear when sharing information and patiently listens and responds to my questions. I recommend Dr. Giblin to anyone, especially those with very extreme skin conditions. Dr. Giblin even fit me in on an already booked schedule because I was having concerns.

Dr Dawn was very thorough and explained what she was doing as she went along.

My appointment with Gloria Lopez was everything you could hope for at a first appointment. She listened attentively and explained everything thoroughly. She made everything very comfortable. I would highly recommend this office. The front desk staff was also lovely.

Please let me express my gratitude to Dr. Wu. I had Vbeam lasers and Kenalog injections for my skin issues, and I’ve seen great improvements. Dr. Wu is very skillful in these procedures and answered all my questions with patience. It was a great treatment experience, and the staff are friendly as well. Highly recommended.

This was very first head to two skin exam, and Dr Conjelko completely put my mind at ease. He took his time explaining everything to me and described every type of freckle or mole or sun damage he found. I did not feel rushed and he answered every question I had. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone. Even if you don't think anything is wrong, it's good to get your skin checked every once in a while.

We have been going to Dr. Kang many years. He is a great doctor. The front office staff was not pleasant or welcoming except for the wonderful young woman who checked us in. She made up for their lack of welcoming. There's no reason why the women in the front office can't be nicer. They seem to be too busy chatting with each other.

I went in because I was experiencing extra itchiness during and after the recent pollen drop. My concerns were listened to and addressed in a very kind and professional manner. I felt very at ease and am so appreciative of the help I received.

Devon is excellent with biopsies and skin surgeries. She is gentle and makes you feel comfortable. I trust her knowledge and skill completely and am so glad she is here in Southern Md. She also carries one of my favorite skincare lines, Obagi ZO which is a plus.

My teenager has been experiencing some treatment-resistant acne, for which her pediatrician referred her to dermatology after exhausting the usual suspects of medication combos. My kiddo has been to a couple of previous (male) providers who just didn't make her feel comfortable, or like she was part of the treatment plan being discussed. We ended up seeing Semhar Mekonen, APRN, with Academic Alliance in Dermatology in Countryside, and couldn't be happier! She was very kind and understanding, and we really felt like we had a tx plan in place moving forward. My kiddo is also 17 and able to go to her checkups solo if needed.

I feel very Blessed to have found Anne Arundel Dermatology. Dr. Brandon Mitchell is a Godsend. I appreciate his keen eye in detecting the cancers so quickly. Excellent work in the removal process. Scaring has been minimal and will be hard to detect. His caring nature during an unknown time is reassuring. The staff at this office are excellent as well. I appreciate all of them very very much. Finding a place with a dermatologist, surgeon, and Photo Dynamic Therapy expert in the same building is a major plus. I've now seen Dr. Kushner to check out my skin issues three times and I find his upbeat personality, professionalism, expertise, and ability to communicate issues all to be top-notch. His assistants have all proven to be friendly and also very professional. I've also had four sessions of PTD (light treatment of pre-cancerous cells) which, while very uncomfortable for a few minutes, has proven to be much easier to go through because of the expertise and warmth of Kate. I had an amazing experience going here! My family recommended it and Dr. Lina and her team was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and kind. I was walked through every step of the process and what I would need to do to get on track! I was in and out within 20 minutes!

I feel like i won the lottery when Dr. Christopher Dolan ended up being my skin cancer surgeon. I was very apprehensive about having any surgery, as this is only the second time in my long life to have had to have surgery. In talking to an old boss of mine, who also had skin cancer removed from his face, and the pain he related associated with its removal, as well as his dissatisfaction with the aesthetic outcome, made me very nervous. But the nurses who assisted in prepping me for my surgery were wonderful, always inquiring whether i was experiencing any pain, and working to ensure that i wouldn't feel any during my surgery were spot on great. Dr. Dolan, as others have mentioned for them as well, called me the following day, to inquire whether i had any questions or concerns, was further reinforcement of my belief that Dr. Dolan and his staff are the best of the best, and that i am blessed to have had them treat me.

Today was my first appointment with this team after nearly two decades since I last saw a dermatologist. From the online booking to the in-office check-in and consultation, my entire experience was great and efficient. Within five minutes of checking in, I was back being seen by a doctor and assistant, who listened closely to my concerns, provided a detail explanation of my care plan, and had me out within 10 minutes.
