What Does Daxxify Treat?
Daxxify is an injectable wrinkle relaxer designed to temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, also called glabellar lines or "11s." Like other wrinkle relaxers, it works by targeting the dynamic muscle contractions that cause these lines to form over time, with results that last longer than other solutions.
Most conventional wrinkle relaxers last three to four months, which means you may spend nearly half the year with visible frown lines returning between appointments. Daxxify is formulated differently. With two treatment visits per year, you can keep those lines smoother for a full year. At least 50% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines six months after treatment.

Huge shoutout to Nurse Practitioner Kelsey Reed and the receptionist for their excellent care and customer service. I was a little upset after driving to my appointment and learning that my provider was unable to see me due to an insurance credentialing issue that I had not been informed about beforehand. Thankfully, the receptionist quickly helped arrange for me to see Kelsey. Kelsey was kind, professional, informative, and took the time to address all of my concerns. Every treatment I’ve received from Brittany has been exactly what I hoped for. The med spa industry is so oversaturated, and it’s hard to find someone with the right experience who is committed to continuing education and truly takes the time to get to know you, and your face. An appointment with Brittany feels like a real consultation. I can ask about other skin concerns, and get her advice, and without feeling pressure. The experience is so much better than the typical transactional, in-and-out Botox appointment. (however, if you need it to be quick, she will accommodate!) She is incredibly particular and strategic with the number of units she uses, which I really appreciate. I couldn’t recommend her more!

So glad I made the switch to Anne Arundel Dermatology in Towson! I used to go to Hopkins but could never get an appointment for my annual skin checks — they wouldn’t schedule a year out and were always booked when I called months in advance. I felt like just another number there. Here, the doctors and staff are super friendly and really know their stuff. They take the time to get to know you. They did a great job of explaining a biopsy and ultimately a small procedure to remove a suspicious spot in such a way that I felt more comfortable than I did concerned….they actually care.
