Highly recommend Dr. Ferrera. The office staff and others providing care here are also very friendly and explain everything clearly. You don’t feel rushed through your visit and they listen to any questions you have and walk you through your treatment options. Brought my 3 year old here to have his birthmark evaluated. They were running about an hour behind- totally fine- it happens. The practitioner we saw was fantastic, thorough, knowledgeable, and very good with my child. My complaint is regarding an undisclosed charge. During his exam she found molluscum lesions- she then applied a topical resin to around 7-10 lesions on his arms. She let me know that it can take up to 3-4 applications to be effective for the lesions (they are still present). I just received the bill for $322.98 for "destruction". I do take responsibility for not asking how much it was going to cost before we've met our deductible. However, it would have been good information to have seeing as I definitely can't commit to 3-4 rounds of $322 for lesions that generally self-resolve.

Good visit. Long wait due to new software system. Being in IT, the data was not ported over correctly leaving the staff to enter the data. Understood that even the first and last names were switched and the staff had to change themselves. Before the next office is upgraded, I suggest the implementation plan be changed to perform more robust data conversion testing. This suggestion is made based on my 30 years in IT. The visit with Kevin Blazer was great and his assistant was wonderful. They answered all my questions very well.

While surgery is never a fun experience, I can’t speak highly enough of SCSC. The receptionists worked with me on multiple occasions to ensure my paperwork was on file, and consistently provided clear guidance. When it came time for surgery, Dr. Montemarano’s skill was so apparent. It is rare to find a doctor with such a wonderful combination of medical talent and bedside manner. He went above and beyond (in what I’m sure was a long day for him) to perform my surgeries in a way that worked best for me. He made me feel comfortable, explained every step clearly, and even called to check up on me after surgery.
