My Biography
Lauren is a certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. Born and raised in Maryland, Lauren attended the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with honors in psychology and public health science. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Health Science and complete her physician assistant training at Duke University. Lauren is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is working towards becoming a Diplomate Fellow. Lauren first discovered her passion for dermatology while working as a medical assistant in dermatology prior to PA school. She feels strongly for early detection and prevention of skin cancer through patient education and is an advocate for skin health concerns.
