If you have not had a hydra facial, schedule you appointment with Amanda at Meridiem Derm Spa at AA Dermatology. She gives an excellent HydraFacial and you leave with a very clean face, free of built up dirt and lotions. The procedure takes under an hour, but the results last 5-6 weeks. Amanda explains all the steps she is taking to make that glow happen. It is painless and the results are immediate. Very satisfied Customer, Pennie Burroughs

I had a great experience. My specialist was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I felt my skin was very well cared for. And although it takes several days to see the benefits of a chemical peel, my skin looked tighter and more clear immediately after. I will be returning for more services because I was so pleased with my experience.

****Update**** I recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology and Dr. Noell enough! It’s rare to find a doctor who truly listens and takes quick action to address your concerns, but Dr. Noell does just that. Every visit has been a pleasant experience, and I’ve seen noticeable improvements right away. I am truly grateful to have found this practice. The entire staff is also incredibly kind and helpful, making each visit even better.

I would highly recommend the main providers here! I feel listened to and I trust them. Their staff however, I have concerns with. During my last visit, while I was speaking to the doctor, the two medical assistants in the room were whispering and laughing; it was highly inappropriate. Shortly thereafter, I was called back into the office because said medical assistants lost the paperwork I had already signed. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes because "no one could find the paper I was talking about", it came out that they also lost my insurance information and I had to start over providing everything. Additionally, during a recent phone call, I mentioned that I was unable to pull up the website for the medication I am taking, and I didn't know the pharmaceutical company's phone number off the top of my head. The staff on the other line got an attitude immediately, saying "so you don't remember the website, you can't find the phone number, real helpful". I don't appreciate being spoken to that way. I would love to continue coming to this practice but will need to see improvements in the way non-doctor staff conduct themselves.

They do everything right here. Someone has clearly put thought into how to make their patients have a good experience and get the necessary care. Office is accessible. You park and go straight to the elevator to floor 3 and turn right down the hall. The front desk staff are helpful and kind. And the medical staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and explain everything clearly. I see Mercy Viator who is wonderful. The whole team is very good. I will always go here and recommend to anyone

You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

I've seen Laurena couple of times and she is great. She really listens, gives you her full attention, and she provides honest and helpful information in response to your needs. It's always easy to get an appointment there too. Check them out!

I’ve been seeing Brittany Sanderson at Meridiem DermSpa for years now for Botox and other services, and she is absolutely phenomenal. Brittany is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and truly takes the time to listen and understand exactly what you’re looking for. I always leave feeling confident and natural, which is so important to me. She has such a great eye and never overdoes anything. On top of that, she’s just the sweetest and makes every appointment such a great experience. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

I visited a different dermatologist before this and had a terrible experience. Anne Arundel Dermatology was such a breath of fresh air! From the ease of booking an appointment quickly and easily to the very pleasant front desk staff to the initial assistant experience to the doctor-everyone was so professional and thorough and patient and kind. And they solved my problem right then and there. I highly recommend this practice! High praise!! 5 ⭐️

Updated Review (Friday, 02/06/2026) First engagement (AAD Call Center – 5/5 stars) I contacted Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD) December 2025 to seek out a PA that I worked with 8yrs ago. That PA has since moved on to their own practice. The call center representative was gracious and listened well to what I needed (e.g. I had tight timeframe; they helped identify possible solutions). They identified a PA who was available during the timeframe and who had completed similar procedures, so that I could likely move more easily from the initial consultation to the procedure. Second engagement (Somil Metha, PA-C – 1/5 stars) My initial consultation at AAD-Greenbelt. I met with Somil Metha, PA-C. Initially, I felt well-served during the appointment, and I left a Google-review immediately afterward stating five stars. However, what I learned in the five hours following my appointment with Somil is that I was not actually served well during this appointment. Long story short: I was referred out to physicians outside of the network (why? I don’t know); it was implied that these referrals were warm-handoffs (when they were indeed cold referrals; I would have to start from scratch with a brand-new consultation); and the follow up for these referrals, along with the calls that afternoon to AAD to figure out ‘what is going on here?’ took up the remainder of that Monday (five hours). The run-around with the next steps, resulting in exhausted time, energy, and resources – truly a 0/5. Third/Fourth Engagements (Customer Service Center – 5/5 stars; Helena at the AAD-Greenbelt office – 20/5 stars) In the five hours after the consult with Somil, I spoke with the AAD Call Center twice. While I didn’t get the name of the first call center person I spoke to, he was kind, helpful, asked good clarifying questions to ensure he got things done right the first time. He provided clear timelines of when I could expect to hear back regarding my questions. The second person I spoke to works directly in the dermatology office where I first visited, Helena. Helena is a godsend. Within one call, she professionally acknowledged that things should have been handled differently for me earlier in the day, and got everything back on track. NOTE: it is a super skill to acknowledge when a company/person has dropped the ball, and to do so without throwing them under the bus, or airing grievances that the client doesn’t need to be a part of, AND to get things immediately back on track and moving forward – Helena did ALL this, and more, within about 15-20min of the call I had with her. Thank you, Helena. I was heard, acknowledged, and supported. Helena asked clarifying questions, literally hand-walked the issue at hand within the office to get the needed answers and next steps, and then got me immediately scheduled with a PA who was immediately available and also skilled in the procedure I needed. Fifth/Sixth/Seventh Engagements (Taj Richardson, PA-C – 20/5 stars; Taj’s support team, all 3 appts – 15/5 stars) From the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up: wow-o-wow, did I land in the most capable, supportive, professional care. The initial consultation was thorough. Taj is professional, kind, engaging, informative, and she listens and asks questions in a way that ensures all points have been covered and nothing is unclear to either her or the patient. The procedure itself – while I would guess that what, to me, felt like Taj putting in extra care and attention, is actually just her everyday professionalism and approach to her work, is how genuinely cared for I felt under her care. Here I am on the other side, 2.5wks later, and there is hardly even a scar; the wound site remained infection-free; and the area that needed to be treated is smooth, pain-free, and completely cleared. The staff that support Taj, from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the post-op follow-up: all incredible too, and follow in her professional, attentive, patient-engaged footsteps. Taj & Staff: You are all appreciated.

Very Professional Staff

Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which should be available in about 10 days. Thank you to Dr. Zook and his assistant for their professionalism, expertise, compassion, and excellent care. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I have been going to the Anne Arundel Dermatology Clinic in Hagerstown for about 8 months. From the moment you walk in you can tell they care. The lobby is spotless.! Proceed to the front desk and you will meet some really nice, and professional receptionists. I have never had a moment where I thought someone was being rude or impatient checking me in, or checking me out after an appointment and scheduling the next. I see PA-C Ashley Kum. SHE. IS AMAZING.!.!.! She is so professional, polite and kind. She evidently loves her position there and what she does. I have never seen her without her smile. It makes a patient feel more relaxed knowing their provider is happy and in a good mood.! I've told my mother about my experiences there and now she wants to come see Ms Ashley Kum and get some things taken care of. I only gave 5 stars because that's the most I could give. We love Dr. O’Neill, have been seeing him for years. My wife and I see him together and it’s like a happy reunion every time! He is so good at what he does and we love him! He’s been protecting us from the sun for years!! We are boaters too! We make the drive now from Easton, Md. I tried to go local one time in Annapolis and they whacked off something in my shin and asked me to come back for biopsy. I went back to Dr. O’Neill right away. No issue in shin at all. We will stay with him until he retires!! 😉

My family and I have been using Dermatology and Mohs for several years now. Making appointments is very easy, there are enough doctors so you're not waiting weeks to see someone. The staff is friendly, my experience has always been little to no wait time in the office and I've never felt rushed by the doctors while seeing them. Shout out to Dr. Kushner, he has a great bedside manner and is very intelligent. He was able to help me when several other derms from other practices were not. Go see these doctors you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Prussick is an excellent dermatologist and I have used him for years. But since he became part of Ann Arundel Dermatology it is almost impossible to reach the practice. They put you on hold for 10 minutes and then the call drops. Or, you select the 'call back' option but they don't call you back. A few months ago I gave up and found another dermatologist for an emergency infection. Recently, it took 3 days for a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy which is not local. It has been a week and I have heard nothing about its being filled. I gave up trying to contact the practice. I bought an over the counter option and hope it will work. If I hadn't been using this doctor for so many years I would be looking for someone else.

Chloe is the sweetest and such a skilled esthetician! I’ve had Hydrafacials, microneedling, and chemical peels with her, and every treatment is thoughtful and customized. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the products she uses too. You can tell she genuinely wants the best for your skin and takes the time to get it just right. From the moment I walked through the door, every member of the staff made me feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that I was in the right place to seek diagnosis and treatment for my skin condition. Dr. Brad Johnson and his nurse were professional, thorough, and compassionate. They took the time to carefully evaluate my condition, explain their findings, and provide an effective treatment plan. I truly appreciated the personalized attention and outstanding level of care I received. Traveled from Calabash to Whiteville because Shallotte was booked. I had a wonderful experience with that office. PA Julie took the time to explain what pre-melanoma was and why it was important to have it treated. She went over every step of the surgery and made sure I didn't have any questions. She was professional, personable and caring. Her assistant ( sorry I don't remember her name) was also very personable and caring. Both check in and check out were efficient. Thank you!

It was a really good experience. All the staff was absolutely great from the front desk to the doctor and assistant and I would definitely recommend them to anyone friend or family. It was a very pleasurable experience and everyone was just so nice and so kind and explained everything to me that I needed to know.

Dr Curtin was very polite, friendly, attentive and addressed every issue I brought to his attention. He gave me information needed to care for my skin’s health and relieved stress associated with health concerns. When you find a doctor that is friendly, well educated and experienced, you should keep their schedule light enough to fit you in when needed by not spreading great ratings. It would be hard to not suggest Dr Curtin to good people, especially since good people recommended him to me.

Zoe Francis at the location in Largo was so kind and helpful! I felt very welcome during my first visit. She listened carefully to my concerns and was very attentive. Thank you Zoe and team!
