Anne Arundel Dermatology accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Because accepted plans vary by location, we recommend contacting your nearest office or visiting our Insurance & Forms page to confirm your coverage before your appointment.

First-time users will receive a registration email from our patient portal system after their first visit. Follow the link in that email to create your account and set your password. If you didn't receive the email or need help getting started, contact your local office, and a team member will assist you.

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of any current medications or supplements. If you have relevant medical records, prior biopsy results, or photos of a skin concern, those are helpful to bring as well. New patient forms are available on our Insurance & Forms page. Completing them ahead of time will help your visit go smoothly.

The easiest way to request a refill or referral is through your patient portal. You can also contact your local office directly by phone. Please allow several business days for processing.

Come with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid nail polish if you'd like your nails checked. Wear loose, easy-to-remove clothing. Your dermatologist will examine your skin from head to toe, so it helps to have any areas of concern noted in advance so you can point them out during the visit.
