Traveled from Calabash to Whiteville because Shallotte was booked. I had a wonderful experience with that office. PA Julie took the time to explain what pre-melanoma was and why it was important to have it treated. She went over every step of the surgery and made sure I didn't have any questions. She was professional, personable and caring. Her assistant ( sorry I don't remember her name) was also very personable and caring. Both check in and check out were efficient. Thank you!

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.

Highly recommend Dr. Ferrera. The office staff and others providing care here are also very friendly and explain everything clearly. You don’t feel rushed through your visit and they listen to any questions you have and walk you through your treatment options. I’d tried a few other places before, I always felt like I was being rushed through the appointments and unheard. They always wanted to kinda just write me a topical for my psoriasis and send me out the door instead of actually talking to me about what’s working or not. Trust me, it’s worth the wait to get that new patient appointment.

I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Giblin. He performed a cyst excision for me and from the very beginning, I felt I was in excellent hands. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process and patiently answered all of my questions, which greatly eased my concerns. During the procedure, he consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable. His calm and reassuring manner made the whole experience much easier than I had expected. After the procedure, he carefully reviewed the wound care instructions step by step to ensure I fully understood how to take care of myself at home. I was especially touched that he personally called me later that evening to check on how I was doing. That level of care truly meant a great deal to me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him. My dermatology appointment this morning was wonderful. Megan Ferritto took excellent care of me, carefully explaining my sudden, scary bald spot: what it was and the available treatment. She and the kind assistant were so caring and efficient. Front desk was awesome as well. Totally recommend!!

I couldn’t possibly recommend Dr. Kang more. Always a great experience and they even gave a follow up call to make sure everything was ok.

I’ve been going to this location for a few years and Dr. Beamguard is a rare find. Best dermatologist in St. Petersburg! She’s always friendly and answers all your questions. Heather, one of her assistants, is also nice and friendly. There is onsite parking and a lobby with a few chairs. The ladies at the front desk are not that friendly and can come off rude at times.

Everyone in the office is so nice! Office is clean too. The appointments are very efficient and not time-consuming like other doctor offices can be. Frank and the other physician assistants are great! I was somewhat scared to go to the dermatologist until I met the staff here. They make you feel comfortable and genuinely care about helping you with any skincare concern.

Dr. Andrew M. Operated on my face 10 years ago. Was extremely satisfied with him and the positive outcome. So happy to have the same outcome with the tumor removed from my ear by Dr. Chris K Nolan 2 years ago. Now on my 10th anniversary Dr. Andrew M. again did his magic and removed a serious Basal tumor from my scalp. Even called me later that evening to see how I was doing. Just a great surgeon and person.!

Facials, microdermabrasions, hydrafacials...I've tried them all and have finally found the perfect aesthetician in Amanda Giless. My skin looks and feels absolutely amazing. She's friendly and makes me completely comfortable. Amanda explained, every step of the process, in detail, during my treatment. It had been years since I was at the dermatologist and I was a but anxious for this appointment. Turns out, that was not at all necessary! From check in with Jocelyn and Jaycee, to check out with Meghan (with interaction with Joann, too!), I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in, was 100% comfortable through the entire visit, and felt valued as a patient. The tech/assistant (I will butcher the spelling but her name reminded me of Marina) who escorted me to the exam room was super friendly and helped me be at ease with her explanation of what I should expect. The doctor I saw (Kerri), was so patient and thorough, making sure that all of my concerns were addressed and that I understood what she was doing during the head-to-toe exam. I will recommend this practice to anyone who needs a dermatologist!

Christina and Dr. Stephanie Pascale were amazing! They addressed all my concerns, completed a very thorough skin check and put me at ease. They biopsied 1 mole. The procedure was quick and surprisingly painless. Christina expertly numbed the area with lidocaine which felt like a very small pinch and then after that I couldn’t feel a thing during the biopsy! It is now several hours later and the lidocaine around the area is still in effect so the after procedure pain is also very minimal making it easy for me to go about my day. I will definitely be back yearly!

This was my first experience with Mohs surgery and I didn't know what to expect. The team was professional, kind, and confident which certainly set me at ease. They explained the procedure at every step which was much appreciated. I really enjoyed how the team and doctor involved me with conversation and the technical aspect of the procedure. The final product was impressive, nice work!

Anne Arundel Dermatology is the place to go if you have skin concerns, skin issues, or skin conditions. The doctors and staff care about you . They are patient and kind to their patients. Excellent care which leaves you with no worries. Just peace of mind. I highly recommend .

Dr. Jenna was absolutely wonderful. I had been putting off a full-body skin scan for years out of fear—especially about the possibility of skin cancer. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Jenna made me feel at ease. She walked me through the entire process, explained each mole and bump in clear, reassuring terms, and asked for my permission every step of the way. I even agreed to a biopsy, and I'm so glad I did. Her assistant was just as kind and professional, and the front desk staff made the whole experience warm and welcoming. I've already recommended this practice to others. I may have more follow-up needs in the fall, but one thing’s for sure—I won’t be putting off my scans anymore.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spa! I went for botox and lip filler today for the first time @ Meridiem Farragut and I am just THRILLED with the results!! I saw Cam Cunning and my lips have never looked so perfect! I live in Scottsdale, AZ but come to Knoxville to see my daughter every few months so Cam will be my official go to girl for everything!!!

Dr Harvey and his staff are an excellent choice for skin care. He and his staff are always welcoming with their knowledgeable, friendly, and professional manner. The office is clean and comfortable and the building offers ample parking with handicapped spaces close to the entry, which is covered for easy drop off should there be rain. ****Update**** I recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology and Dr. Noell enough! It’s rare to find a doctor who truly listens and takes quick action to address your concerns, but Dr. Noell does just that. Every visit has been a pleasant experience, and I’ve seen noticeable improvements right away. I am truly grateful to have found this practice. The entire staff is also incredibly kind and helpful, making each visit even better.

The location was convenient and easy to find. Parking was plentiful and adjacent to the building housing the clinic. The staff was extremely professional and considerate; nobody goes to get skin cancer surgery for the fun of it - and the natural apprehension of these procedures is so much easier to manage when those attending are so courteous and helpful in answering questions etc. Two thumbs up and well done to the team.

Update: 9/23/26 Had a much better experience yesterday. Natalie and Dr. Mclanahan were wonderful in both prep and procedure. I really appreciate the redemption here. Still a bit bummed that my prior feedback was never addressed or acknowledged by anyone but happy to update my review here to be positive as a result of a much better experience this past visit. Horrible. I scheduled a simple procedure here and reviewed with scheduling multiple times so as to avoid wasting my time. Showed up today for my appointment only to spend 4-5 mins total to be told I then needed to schedule an appointment in September. On top of this, Tami, was borderline unprofessional and had a horrible attitude the entire time simply because their iPad wasn’t saving patient information. When I explained that I was surprised and disappointed about no procedure taking place, she made it my problem by saying “you spoke to a call center”. Actually, I spoke to multiple people at your office in at attempt to not waste my time and money for a procedure that literally should take 15-20 mins. On top of taking hours out of my day only to be told I needed to schedule something months out, I spent $80 on co pay. Beyond agitated at the lack of professionalism, waste of time and money grab that this turned out to be.

Academic Alliance in Dermatology is the Best!! Love Dr V…..very personable and makes you feel very comfortable and happy to be there….his new building is very nice and girls are very friendly and helpful….

The check in area is comfortably away from the waiting area to allow for personal Q&A. Always greated nicely and my health card and ID delivered to me vs. being asked to retrieve them - nice touch! Very minimal wait time. The Dr., PA, medical assistant are all professional and courteous and provide ample time to listen and explain. I'm happy with the results of my procedures and the cosmetic only services are affordably priced. I highly recommend this dermatology office.

I think the doctor and both nurses who completed my small fiber neuropathy biopsy deserve some sort of award for how absolutely beautifully they did. I am decently medically complex and had a biopsy that some dermatologist never even do. She even made me aware she’s never done a SFN biopsy before but is going to do everything by the instructions that the kits company provided and took every single step very very importantly. They worked as a well oiled machine and made my experience a lot more comfortable given how nervous I felt. Absolutely 10/10 experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better appointment

I highly recommend this practice! Immediately upon walking in the door, I was welcomed warmly and professionally. After completing important medical information, my wait was less than 5 minutes. Jennifer greeted me, took me to my room and was warm, friendly and helpful. She spent or preparing information for my nurse practitioner and I was professional and thorough. When I met my Nurse Practioner, Mercy V., I was treated with respect, kindness and professionalism. She listened to all of my concerns and gave me valuable information to help me move forward with the issues that I was dealing with. I am very pleased with every experience with this practice and looking forward to a long term relationship! You will be very happy with your experience with this practice. Everything went well from start to finish. The front staff checked me in promptly and I was seen within minutes of my arrival. The medical aide was friendly and effective and once I was ready, Dr. Katz wasted no time in coming in. I appreciated that he asked questions about my condition and took the time to answer the questions I had - and to discuss the options for treatment.

The doctor and the staff are very caring and friendly! I highly recommend anyone to see them for any of your skin care issues or needs!
