What Does Botox Treat?

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.

I had surgery on my back today to remove a melanoma. Dr. Harvey and the nurse (I am so sorry I did not get her name) were absolutely wonderful. I felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. Now, at 11:00 p.m., I have no pain and have taken no pain medication. If the operation was not so serious I could honestly say I enjoyed it! Have all the information and medication I need to heal me quickly and completely.

I waited about ten minutes which was no big deal. The physician quickly assessed my concerns and made sure I understood her explanation/diagnosis. I have been going here for years and seeing Dr Primka and his staff are the best. They are very professional and really good. They and the other staff are friendly ,kind and courteous!! On my first visit years ago Dr Primka walked in and in 5 minutes he had diagnosed me with a genetic disease that causes basal skin cancers and other problems. I had been trying for years to find out what was causing my problems and had been to several Drs. It's a hour and half drive for me to get to the office ,and my home is only 10 minutes from a dermatologist where I live , but the drive is well worth it when you have a great doctor !!!!

You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which should be available in about 10 days. Thank you to Dr. Zook and his assistant for their professionalism, expertise, compassion, and excellent care. Scheduling the appointment was super quick and easy. As a new patient I anticipated it would be a few weeks wait to be seen but to my surprise they had availability as soon as a day ahead. I scheduled a skin check with Dr. Francis who ended up freezing a spot and sending another one to pathology. She took her time and genuinely listened to my concerns.
