When Dr. Robert Handwerger established his solo dermatology practice in Maryland more than 40 years ago, he built it around a simple idea: that patients deserve expert, compassionate care delivered by people who know them. That idea still drives everything we do. Today, we’re one of the largest dermatology networks in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, but our commitment to personalized, patient-first care is the same as it was on day one.
