Great people -- from super kind front desk staff, to medical assistants and para professionals, to Mariella Purvis, PA-C, who is a gem. 💎 5 stars! Ding: Parking is confusing and atrocious, with poor signage and a multi level garage behind the building that doesn't align and attach to the building unless you enter the magic entrance in a dank, creepy stairwell. So plan to arrive 1 hour early and you just might make it in time. 👤😵‍💫

I had an excellent experience with Sharnel Reed, Nurse Practitioner. She was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns in regards to my sons acne before creating a personalized acne treatment plan. She explained everything clearly and made me and my son feel comfortable throughout the entire process. My sons skin has improved so much, and he is finally feel confident again. Her genuine care and attention to detail made all the difference. I highly recommend Sharnel Reed to anyone looking for dermatology care and compassionate, high-quality care! The front office staff is great as well as the nurses who triage you. I highly recommend this office.

I booked two different dermatology appointments, one here and another at a nearby facility. Anne Arundel Dermatology scheduled me within a week and a half, the other place was a month and a half out. Then I thought, well, let me see how my experience goes here and worse case I can just go to the other appt as a second opinion. Truth was, I cancelled the second appt. Marianne was absolutely wonderful. I had a few areas of concern, she addressed each one and how each spot was different. Educated me on what I was dealing with and provided treatment options that didn't include invasive surgery. The spots that were suspect she measured, gave me options and we made a plan to monitor for changes, then additional treatment, as needed. Highly recommend!

Every treatment I’ve received from Brittany has been exactly what I hoped for. The med spa industry is so oversaturated, and it’s hard to find someone with the right experience who is committed to continuing education and truly takes the time to get to know you, and your face. An appointment with Brittany feels like a real consultation. I can ask about other skin concerns, and get her advice, and without feeling pressure. The experience is so much better than the typical transactional, in-and-out Botox appointment. (however, if you need it to be quick, she will accommodate!) She is incredibly particular and strategic with the number of units she uses, which I really appreciate. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Caitlin Lutz and her assistant were awesome. My 1st time visiting this office and I was very very pleased. Caitlin removed a mole in question that I had damaged, took a culture of another to have them tested and frozen the 3rd. She was concerned if I was feeling any pain during the procedures, which I was not. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent practice and the practitioners are awesome. Don't forget to wear your sunscreen and see these guys once a year. It is a great place!

When I went in I was worried because my mother died from breast cancer and she had skin cancer a couple times and my primary care doctor said that what I had growing on my face might be skin cancer so I was real worried but from the moment I walked in the reception is up front the nurses and the doctor were very knowledgeable friendly easy going and just made me feel real at rest the procedure went smooth and quickly I was very amazed at how quick it was they gave me paperwork that informed me how to take care of the wound where she excised the growth to be sent and tested I was very happy with my experience and I will use them again in the future when I need them thank you for hiring very professional kind caring individuals

The following day Dr. Malone called to check on me and when I called with additional questions, my call was promptly returned. Thank you Dr.Malone and staff!!!

fantastic office staff, medical providers and service

You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

I have been going to this practice for several years now. Dr. Giblin is who I see primarily and he is very knowledgeable and discusses treatment options very clearly, and makes sure the patient’s questions and concerns are addressed. I have also used Dr. Krivda who performed a skin cancer surgery for me. He did an excellent job and you cannot see any evidence of a scar. All the staff are friendly, the office scheduling process is easy and minimal wait time once you arrive for your appointment. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent practice. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by helpful and curtious staff. There was virtually no wait after my new patient paperwork was completed. I was taken directly to a visit room and the nurse efficiently took my information. A few minutes later the doctor arrived for the exam. All of my concerns were addressed. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Anne Arundel Dermatology.

Everything went well from start to finish. The front staff checked me in promptly and I was seen within minutes of my arrival. The medical aide was friendly and effective and once I was ready, Dr. Katz wasted no time in coming in. I appreciated that he asked questions about my condition and took the time to answer the questions I had - and to discuss the options for treatment.

Traveled from Calabash to Whiteville because Shallotte was booked. I had a wonderful experience with that office. PA Julie took the time to explain what pre-melanoma was and why it was important to have it treated. She went over every step of the surgery and made sure I didn't have any questions. She was professional, personable and caring. Her assistant ( sorry I don't remember her name) was also very personable and caring. Both check in and check out were efficient. Thank you!

Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which should be available in about 10 days. Thank you to Dr. Zook and his assistant for their professionalism, expertise, compassion, and excellent care. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Synopsis - Amazing staff made this an amazing experience. I went in with some skin concerns that I had been reluctant to get taken care of. Finally broke down and set up an appointment online, got the vast majority of my paperwork and questionnaires out of the way online, and booked it. To be able to get all of those things out of the way ahead of heading to the appointment was so nice. The staff at the center were all amazing. From the wonderful receptionists, to Dari (sorry if I spelt it wrong) who was my assistant and Suzanne Craven who took care of my skin issues--it was amazing. They were thoughtful, listened, provided their expertise and advice, and cared. I truly cannot say enough good things about this whole experience for me. It'll be the only place I ever go to for anything dermatology related in the future, no doubt about it. 5 Cleared Up Stars out of 5!

Had my first full body check today and I was very pleased with my visit. Dr. Noell asked if I had any concerns, explained the process, examined me head to toe, even going through my hair. She explained what the different spots were and provided me with samples of different sunscreens specifically for my skin. The staff was friendly, I had no issues using my insurance, the parking lot had plenty of spaces available. I'm so happy that I finally got around to getting my check up! Easy peasy.

All of my skin issues are addressed. Any concerns are always listened to.

I am very pleased with the treatment plan she has provided on first try. The office staff is pleasant and attentive. The facility is clean and inviting. I highly recommend Dr. Boswell.

After my Primary Dr. told me I needed to get some moles checked by a dermatologist, I begrudgingly made the appointment and showed up. In general I don’t like anything to do with medical exams so I walked in with a less than excited attitude but everybody in the office was super friendly. The PA (Colella) had a professional and great bedside manner which made the visit easy. I was extremely uncomfortable (feeling awkward) about the visit but she was very professional, friendly and asked lots of questions during the exam so I forgot about how uncomfortable I was as soon as the exam started and then it was all done with all clear results. Thank you very much for making an “awkward” visit pretty quick and very easy. I would highly recommend this office to anybody that needs to get skin their checked and hates the idea of being so closely examined. 😃🇺🇸

So I’m a honest reviewer. If they don’t earn it I don’t just give 5 stars. This place deserves 10! So so pleasant. My son sees PA Brittany and she is so wonderful. So kind, she listens very well, she thoroughly answers and explains things wonderfully. She has helped my son with his hormonal and bacterial acne so much. i visited dr.boswell a few years ago to get some assistance on adult acne and they really took their time to listen while i explained the history of my skin. my skincare routine is now much more simple and is the clearest it has ever been. i recently visited (with dr.johanna young) due to a persistent, painful contact dermatitis rash which no one was able to clear. they (again) took their time listening to me and truly made me feel cared for and it was 90% cleared within two days. i am a forever patient 😭 great doctors and great staff. thank you so much!!
