What Does Fraxel Treat?

I went to Carolina Skin Care in Pinehurst for MOHS surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. Dr. Malone and her staff treated me like a king. They made sure that I was comfortable and pain free. On the night of the surgery, my wound began to bleed. The bleeding would not stop so I went to the emergency room. They were unable to stop the bleeding and referred me back to Carolina Skin Care with Dr. Malone and her staff. They were able to stop the bleeding before I left. I greater appreciate the care that I received from Dr. Malone and her staff.

Best woman of color dermatologist there is! Hands down! I started struggling with acne again in my 30s, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Boswell for about two years now. One thing I’ve learned is that acne treatment is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. It took some time, patience, and trial and error for us to figure out what worked best for my skin, but we finally got there! I can proudly say I have ZERO bumps on my face, and we’re now working on my hyperpigmentation! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. As an established patient of Academic Alliance in Dermatology, I continue to be pleased with Dr. Lam and his staff. The office is run on a timely basis, is comfortable, and very clean. Since Dr. Lam was booked out, and I wanted an appointment fairly soon, I accepted an appointment in the Tarpon office with his PA, Morgan. I was exceedingly pleased with Morgan's professional expertise and her sensitivity to my anxiety. She explained the skin condition clearly and offered me medical advice on what could be done to treat it. I chose to have her shave off the seborria keratosis patch on my skin. Morgan is very skilled, and the process went very smoothly. She explained the aftercare. Morgan's assistant, Taliah, was very attentive and proficient. I am very happy with the talented professionalism both women showed me and with the office in general.

You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

Huge shoutout to Nurse Practitioner Kelsey Reed and the receptionist for their excellent care and customer service. I was a little upset after driving to my appointment and learning that my provider was unable to see me due to an insurance credentialing issue that I had not been informed about beforehand. Thankfully, the receptionist quickly helped arrange for me to see Kelsey. Kelsey was kind, professional, informative, and took the time to address all of my concerns. Both she and the receptionist turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a positive one. Thank you both for your compassion, professionalism, and dedication to patients!
