I feel completely at ease every time I visit the doctor; the receptionists and nurses are all so gentle and welcoming. Dr. Landen, in particular, is incredibly patient and thorough in explaining my condition. When I expressed concern about whether my insurance would cover continued medication, Dr. Landen reassured me by saying, "If there are any issues, I can help you." That thoughtful reassurance really touched me. Thank you.

Cam is the absolute best! I have seen her for lip filler, and she has exceeded my expectations. She is always kind, patient, and caring, and goes to great lengths to always make sure I am comfortable throughout the visit. I cannot recommend her enough! I had a great appointment with Frank Navarra PA. He was professional and extremely thorough with my skin check. Took his time looking over my body and explained his findings especially with my history of previous skin cancers. Additionally, he removed several skin tags. It has been 24 hours and I have zero discomfort or pain. The receptionists were personable and professional. I love the convenience of this office location and the ability to get an appointment within a few days of trying. This was my first time at allegiance Dermatology. It was a pleasure to check in and I didn’t wait long, approx. 5 minutes to be seen for my appointment which is rare in the healthcare industry. The staff and the doctor were very professional and explained everything in detail. I would definitely recommend this dermatologist. I have been to a few others in the area and none Come close to the service I received here. Plus, the location was very easy to get to and parking was a pleasure knowing a few steps to the front door.

Updated Review (Friday, 02/06/2026) First engagement (AAD Call Center – 5/5 stars) I contacted Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD) December 2025 to seek out a PA that I worked with 8yrs ago. That PA has since moved on to their own practice. The call center representative was gracious and listened well to what I needed (e.g. I had tight timeframe; they helped identify possible solutions). They identified a PA who was available during the timeframe and who had completed similar procedures, so that I could likely move more easily from the initial consultation to the procedure. Second engagement (Somil Metha, PA-C – 1/5 stars) My initial consultation at AAD-Greenbelt. I met with Somil Metha, PA-C. Initially, I felt well-served during the appointment, and I left a Google-review immediately afterward stating five stars. However, what I learned in the five hours following my appointment with Somil is that I was not actually served well during this appointment. Long story short: I was referred out to physicians outside of the network (why? I don’t know); it was implied that these referrals were warm-handoffs (when they were indeed cold referrals; I would have to start from scratch with a brand-new consultation); and the follow up for these referrals, along with the calls that afternoon to AAD to figure out ‘what is going on here?’ took up the remainder of that Monday (five hours). The run-around with the next steps, resulting in exhausted time, energy, and resources – truly a 0/5. Third/Fourth Engagements (Customer Service Center – 5/5 stars; Helena at the AAD-Greenbelt office – 20/5 stars) In the five hours after the consult with Somil, I spoke with the AAD Call Center twice. While I didn’t get the name of the first call center person I spoke to, he was kind, helpful, asked good clarifying questions to ensure he got things done right the first time. He provided clear timelines of when I could expect to hear back regarding my questions. The second person I spoke to works directly in the dermatology office where I first visited, Helena. Helena is a godsend. Within one call, she professionally acknowledged that things should have been handled differently for me earlier in the day, and got everything back on track. NOTE: it is a super skill to acknowledge when a company/person has dropped the ball, and to do so without throwing them under the bus, or airing grievances that the client doesn’t need to be a part of, AND to get things immediately back on track and moving forward – Helena did ALL this, and more, within about 15-20min of the call I had with her. Thank you, Helena. I was heard, acknowledged, and supported. Helena asked clarifying questions, literally hand-walked the issue at hand within the office to get the needed answers and next steps, and then got me immediately scheduled with a PA who was immediately available and also skilled in the procedure I needed. Fifth/Sixth/Seventh Engagements (Taj Richardson, PA-C – 20/5 stars; Taj’s support team, all 3 appts – 15/5 stars) From the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up: wow-o-wow, did I land in the most capable, supportive, professional care. The initial consultation was thorough. Taj is professional, kind, engaging, informative, and she listens and asks questions in a way that ensures all points have been covered and nothing is unclear to either her or the patient. The procedure itself – while I would guess that what, to me, felt like Taj putting in extra care and attention, is actually just her everyday professionalism and approach to her work, is how genuinely cared for I felt under her care. Here I am on the other side, 2.5wks later, and there is hardly even a scar; the wound site remained infection-free; and the area that needed to be treated is smooth, pain-free, and completely cleared. The staff that support Taj, from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the post-op follow-up: all incredible too, and follow in her professional, attentive, patient-engaged footsteps. Taj & Staff: You are all appreciated.

I can't thank this office enough I had to pay out of pocket to get diagnosed and to get a biopsy and the rates were very reasonable for someone with no insurance I'm extremely thankful for that. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Dr Johnson and his team did a fabulous job of treating it it was a painless procedure done reasonably quick and I feel very good about it I'm extremely thankful for Dr Johnson and his team. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend they are fabulous. Good communication aggressive with getting insurance situated and really good about getting an appointment as soon as possible

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.

Whitney NP is amazing. Whitney always makes you feel like you are just not another patient. She really is very concerned about your diagnosis. She'll always tell us call me if you have any questions or concerns. We had issues with the pharmacy at the beginning of going to Miss Whitney and is she fixed that problem right away . You can tell she is on your side and she will help you in any way she can. She is very caring and knowledgeable. Her male nurse I wished I knew his name. But we had him the last two visits to the office. He is a ray of sunshine. He makes you feel very comfortable. And you can tell he really loves his job. I have worked in the healthcare for years. And sometimes it's hard to fake a smile or to be happy. We look forward to seeing Whitney and her nurse when we go to the office because it is such a great experience. I’ve rec’d the best care here for 30 years pretty sure. I’m fair skinned English and have paid dearly for it. At times, once a month, and usually surgery once a year. Dr Monty is my hero and staff like Karla and Steve are like family. I’m known for bringing home made goodies. Obviously I’m In the best hands here.

Brought my 3 year old here to have his birthmark evaluated. They were running about an hour behind- totally fine- it happens. The practitioner we saw was fantastic, thorough, knowledgeable, and very good with my child. My complaint is regarding an undisclosed charge. During his exam she found molluscum lesions- she then applied a topical resin to around 7-10 lesions on his arms. She let me know that it can take up to 3-4 applications to be effective for the lesions (they are still present). I just received the bill for $322.98 for "destruction". I do take responsibility for not asking how much it was going to cost before we've met our deductible. However, it would have been good information to have seeing as I definitely can't commit to 3-4 rounds of $322 for lesions that generally self-resolve.

I have been going to the Anne Arundel Dermatology Clinic in Hagerstown for about 8 months. From the moment you walk in you can tell they care. The lobby is spotless.! Proceed to the front desk and you will meet some really nice, and professional receptionists. I have never had a moment where I thought someone was being rude or impatient checking me in, or checking me out after an appointment and scheduling the next. I see PA-C Ashley Kum. SHE. IS AMAZING.!.!.! She is so professional, polite and kind. She evidently loves her position there and what she does. I have never seen her without her smile. My appt was for a full body scan since I am a new patient at East Tennessee Dermatology. I saw Whitney Colella, MPAS,PA-C Certified Physician Assistant ~ she was great, very professional and thorough. She explains everything in detail. I will go back for a follow up in a month while ‘keeping an eye’ on an area on my nose. My husband will also see her for pre cancerous marks on his head. Great office and staff- super friendly and happy to work with.

I have seen a few different providers over all the years I’ve been coming here and they have all been great!

Me and my whole family see Dr. Dhar, and I can honestly say we trust him with our eyes closed. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and always takes the time to make sure we feel comfortable and heard. He’s not just an amazing doctor, but a wonderful person too.

Great Staff Excellent Care

I went here and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Plenty of chairs, and not a ton of people waiting. My appointment was fast. The front desk lady was nice. The assistant with the broken arm was professional, and PA-C Alyssa was very professional. She even explained things as she went along. My only issue is how bright the examination room is. I had to look down a bit just to avoid the light, but that's fine. They need the light to look at your skin. Overall, they get an A+

Had great experience with the staff and Dr. Connolly. He really addresses your concerns well and gives the best medical advice for your treatment.
