She has been doing an outstanding job treating my CCCA, and I am very pleased with the progress of my treatment so far. I appreciate having a dermatologist who is knowledgeable about CCCA and takes the time to explain my treatment and address my concerns. I feel confident in the care I am receiving and would highly recommend Dr. Orleans to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dermatologist. ⭐ Dr. Orleans and her clinical care: 5/5 stars! I would, however, give the billing office 3/5 stars. I paid $70.00 upfront in coinsurance/out-of-pocket costs, but my insurance ultimately paid the claim at 100%. According to my records, BCBS issued an EFT payment on July 26, 2026. I would appreciate having someone from the billing department review the account and process my $70.00 refund as soon as possible. Overall, I am very happy with my treatment and the care I am receiving from Dr. Orleans. I hope the billing issue can be resolved promptly so that my overall experience reflects the excellent medical care I have received.

The difference with this company / office in Newnan Georgia is that they take the time to answer. Polite and with understanding . I was able to get a new patient appointment within a month, and when I needed to be seen again, I was able to schedule an appointment within a short and reasonable amount of time. During the appointment, the Dermatologist listened to my concerns and discussed treatment options and procedures in a way that was easy to understand. I am totally satisfied with his medical examinations. However, trying to get in touch by phone became a horror show since he became part of the larger group. The first call said there was a 39 minute wait time. I was able to leave a message to be called later. I was unable to answer the return call, but a message was left on my machine. Unfortunately, the message started skipping and I could not hear all of the new phone number to be called. My second call soon got the recorded message announcing the wait time as one minute. It then kept repeating the one minute wait time message over and over and over. After 5 minutes of this, I hung up. On my third try, the recording said over and over and over that the wait time was the 8 minutes. After getting frustrated again, I was about to hang up when suddenly the call was answered--by a lady who sounded very, very bored with her job.

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.
