The receptionists worked with me on multiple occasions to ensure my paperwork was on file, and consistently provided clear guidance. When it came time for surgery, Dr. Montemarano’s skill was so apparent. It is rare to find a doctor with such a wonderful combination of medical talent and bedside manner. He went above and beyond (in what I’m sure was a long day for him) to perform my surgeries in a way that worked best for me. He made me feel comfortable, explained every step clearly, and even called to check up on me after surgery. Since Dr. Lam was booked out, and I wanted an appointment fairly soon, I accepted an appointment in the Tarpon office with his PA, Morgan. I was exceedingly pleased with Morgan's professional expertise and her sensitivity to my anxiety. She explained the skin condition clearly and offered me medical advice on what could be done to treat it. I chose to have her shave off the seborria keratosis patch on my skin. Morgan is very skilled, and the process went very smoothly. She explained the aftercare. Morgan's assistant, Taliah, was very attentive and proficient. I recently had squamous removal surgery on my nose at the Skin Cancer Surgery Center in Fairfax, Va. My surgeon, Jonathan Smith, D.O., was exceptionally professional during the entire process as were the entire support staff. What I feared was going to be"scary experience" was mitigated down to a rather routine, cordial visit to the "doctors office" in the end. I would grade this overall process as an A.

You know those medical practictioners who run their office poorly, the waits are long, and the staff treat you like you've invaded their personal space and you're dumb for being there? That is NOT this place. 2 days ago, I found a spot of concern on my arm. I got an appointment within 2 days. I walked in and waited max 10 minutes. My PA (Anjana Patel) listened to my concern, did a couple of feel tests, thought it was probably nothing but since it was a little funny, she biopsied it on the spot. Then she asked if I wanted a whole skin check since I never had had one, which she performed with compassion and competence. She was amazing, and her assistant, Grace, was wonderful too. The office staff was similarly kind and got me in and out quickly. It's obviously a nice place to work, because the office staff was smiling and joking with each other while also performing their tasks with professionalism. Could not recommend more highly. 10/10.

I have been seeing Dr. Monica Valentin at the Fairfax Office of Anne Arundel Dematology for many years. Dr. Valentin is board certified in two specialties, Dermatology and Internal Medicine, and her thoroughness is appreciated. She is always friendly and kind, no matter how busy, and she and her PAs help you maintain good skin health including any necessary medical treatments, and annual or more frequent checks as necessary. The practice itself, and the Fairfax office, are extremely well run, including calendars, maintaining scheduling, billing, and communications. Unlike some other specialists' offices, in particular dermatology, while the practice is busy, there is rarely or never any kind of untoward wait, and the waiting room is therefore not full or crowded, because they maintain a disciplined calendar and don't overbook. Only the people right before you and the people right after you are generally there. While I have had only standard but important medical skin checks and treatments, they do offer spa care treatments, and for whatever reason Dr. Valentin ages in reverse so I would trust her in that regard if one were in that market.
