After my Primary Dr. told me I needed to get some moles checked by a dermatologist, I begrudgingly made the appointment and showed up. In general I don’t like anything to do with medical exams so I walked in with a less than excited attitude but everybody in the office was super friendly. The PA (Colella) had a professional and great bedside manner which made the visit easy. I was extremely uncomfortable (feeling awkward) about the visit but she was very professional, friendly and asked lots of questions during the exam so I forgot about how uncomfortable I was as soon as the exam started and then it was all done with all clear results. Thank you very much for making an “awkward” visit pretty quick and very easy. I would highly recommend this office to anybody that needs to get skin their checked and hates the idea of being so closely examined. 😃🇺🇸

When I checked in at the reception desk, the receptionist had everything ready for me. Waiting room is comfortable. My appointment started on time. The nurse, Georgina, gave me a thorough pre-brief. As an established patient of Academic Alliance in Dermatology, I continue to be pleased with Dr. Lam and his staff. The office is run on a timely basis, is comfortable, and very clean. Since Dr. Lam was booked out, and I wanted an appointment fairly soon, I accepted an appointment in the Tarpon office with his PA, Morgan. I was exceedingly pleased with Morgan's professional expertise and her sensitivity to my anxiety. She explained the skin condition clearly and offered me medical advice on what could be done to treat it. I chose to have her shave off the seborria keratosis patch on my skin. Morgan is very skilled, and the process went very smoothly. She explained the aftercare. Morgan's assistant, Taliah, was very attentive and proficient. I am very happy with the talented professionalism both women showed me and with the office in general.

I’ve been going to this location for a few years and Dr. Beamguard is a rare find. Best dermatologist in St. Petersburg! She’s always friendly and answers all your questions. Heather, one of her assistants, is also nice and friendly. There is onsite parking and a lobby with a few chairs. The ladies at the front desk are not that friendly and can come off rude at times.

My appt was for a full body scan since I am a new patient at East Tennessee Dermatology. I saw Whitney Colella, MPAS,PA-C Certified Physician Assistant ~ she was great, very professional and thorough. She explains everything in detail. I will go back for a follow up in a month while ‘keeping an eye’ on an area on my nose. My husband will also see her for pre cancerous marks on his head. Great office and staff- super friendly and happy to work with.

I can't thank this office enough I had to pay out of pocket to get diagnosed and to get a biopsy and the rates were very reasonable for someone with no insurance I'm extremely thankful for that. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Dr Johnson and his team did a fabulous job of treating it it was a painless procedure done reasonably quick and I feel very good about it I'm extremely thankful for Dr Johnson and his team. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend they are fabulous.
