Jen Abbott is the most trustworthy, considerate doctor I have ever seen. She makes you feel at ease and she never makes you feel rushed. She listens to my concerns and she's respectful and kind. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait very long at all and the office is clean and well run. I feel like a bundle of nerves at most doctors offices, but here I feel relaxed and calm. It's a testament to the environment they have created at Tideway. I'm really grateful for them!

When I went in I was worried because my mother died from breast cancer and she had skin cancer a couple times and my primary care doctor said that what I had growing on my face might be skin cancer so I was real worried but from the moment I walked in the reception is up front the nurses and the doctor were very knowledgeable friendly easy going and just made me feel real at rest the procedure went smooth and quickly I was very amazed at how quick it was they gave me paperwork that informed me how to take care of the wound where she excised the growth to be sent and tested I was very happy with my experience and I will use them again in the future when I need them thank you for hiring very professional kind caring individuals

She is very competent at what she is doing and has identified concerns on my skin that others may have missed. Irish and fair skinned am I and I appreciate her thoroughness and, everyone I have had the pleasure of interacting with in this office. They are personable and nice folk for sure. The entire staff takes great care of you from the front desk at check-in through getting set up for the exam and during the examination itself. Scheduling follow-up appointments is very easy and they keep you on time. PA-C Ferrera (Dr. Kenny) is awesome.

Dr. Landen, in particular, is incredibly patient and thorough in explaining my condition. When I expressed concern about whether my insurance would cover continued medication, Dr. Landen reassured me by saying, "If there are any issues, I can help you." Updated Review (Friday, 02/06/2026) First engagement (AAD Call Center – 5/5 stars) I contacted Anne Arundel Dermatology (AAD) December 2025 to seek out a PA that I worked with 8yrs ago. That PA has since moved on to their own practice. The call center representative was gracious and listened well to what I needed (e.g. I had tight timeframe; they helped identify possible solutions). They identified a PA who was available during the timeframe and who had completed similar procedures, so that I could likely move more easily from the initial consultation to the procedure. Second engagement (Somil Metha, PA-C – 1/5 stars) My initial consultation at AAD-Greenbelt. I met with Somil Metha, PA-C. Initially, I felt well-served during the appointment, and I left a Google-review immediately afterward stating five stars. However, what I learned in the five hours following my appointment with Somil is that I was not actually served well during this appointment. Long story short: I was referred out to physicians outside of the network (why? I don’t know); it was implied that these referrals were warm-handoffs (when they were indeed cold referrals; I would have to start from scratch with a brand-new consultation); and the follow up for these referrals, along with the calls that afternoon to AAD to figure out ‘what is going on here?’ took up the remainder of that Monday (five hours). The run-around with the next steps, resulting in exhausted time, energy, and resources – truly a 0/5. Third/Fourth Engagements (Customer Service Center – 5/5 stars; Helena at the AAD-Greenbelt office – 20/5 stars) In the five hours after the consult with Somil, I spoke with the AAD Call Center twice. While I didn’t get the name of the first call center person I spoke to, he was kind, helpful, asked good clarifying questions to ensure he got things done right the first time. He provided clear timelines of when I could expect to hear back regarding my questions. The second person I spoke to works directly in the dermatology office where I first visited, Helena. Helena is a godsend. Within one call, she professionally acknowledged that things should have been handled differently for me earlier in the day, and got everything back on track. NOTE: it is a super skill to acknowledge when a company/person has dropped the ball, and to do so without throwing them under the bus, or airing grievances that the client doesn’t need to be a part of, AND to get things immediately back on track and moving forward – Helena did ALL this, and more, within about 15-20min of the call I had with her. Thank you, Helena. I was heard, acknowledged, and supported. Helena asked clarifying questions, literally hand-walked the issue at hand within the office to get the needed answers and next steps, and then got me immediately scheduled with a PA who was immediately available and also skilled in the procedure I needed. Fifth/Sixth/Seventh Engagements (Taj Richardson, PA-C – 20/5 stars; Taj’s support team, all 3 appts – 15/5 stars) From the initial consultation, to the procedure itself, to the post-procedure follow-up: wow-o-wow, did I land in the most capable, supportive, professional care. The initial consultation was thorough. Taj is professional, kind, engaging, informative, and she listens and asks questions in a way that ensures all points have been covered and nothing is unclear to either her or the patient. The procedure itself – while I would guess that what, to me, felt like Taj putting in extra care and attention, is actually just her everyday professionalism and approach to her work, is how genuinely cared for I felt under her care. Here I am on the other side, 2.5wks later, and there is hardly even a scar; the wound site remained infection-free; and the area that needed to be treated is smooth, pain-free, and completely cleared. The staff that support Taj, from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the post-op follow-up: all incredible too, and follow in her professional, attentive, patient-engaged footsteps. Taj & Staff: You are all appreciated.

This is a very "in demand" dermatology office so I was very surprised when I called and they were able to fit me in on the next day. Everyone was prompt with their scheduled times and Alexandra Stewart was very nice and efficient with my full body scan. She addressed all of my concerns quickly and let me know her advice, which I am following. She also froze off several pre-cancerous areas and biopsied one questionable area. All in about 15 minutes. I could not ask for more.

I had a face, neck, chest and hand BBL with NP Charu Jain and she was wonderful. She informed me of the process and prepared me for each step. The location is clean, inviting, and bright and the front desk staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Zoe and the staff there are very professional and very knowledgeable about all the issues I had!! got 4 cut off and am working on getting the rest burned off!! Zoe makes you feel like it's no big deal she knows what she is doing!! I had a spot for 4 years and she said I have an aggressive carcinoma type of cancer and Zoe and the staff cut it out and got it all the very first time!! I have had spots pop up and one call to them and I was in with in days and cut a piece for biopsy 3 days later got the call and 3 days later was getting them addressed!!! Anytime I have a spot of any kind of questions they get right back with answers!!!

They have been treating me well for several years now. Able to check results of biopsies promptly, schedule me soon as possible, reasonable wait times,friendly and professional to boot.

What an outstanding experience this was. It is always alarming when you hear the word cancer. That strikes terror. This facility is just wonderful. They made me feel comfortable. listened, provided all the information regarding the procedure. My cancer is gone and now the healing begins. My suggestion is preparation is everything. Make sure you have all that you need for the first 24 to 48 hrs. Ask questions, write down your own questions. do exactly as prescribed and you will be great. Dr. Monte, his assistants, the front desk are consummate professionals. The waiting area is clean and inviting along with a coffee station. My word to everyone. WEAR YOUR SUNBLOCK. no tanning beds. and contact them if ever needed.

Best woman of color dermatologist there is! Hands down! I started struggling with acne again in my 30s, and I’ve been seeing Dr. Boswell for about two years now. One thing I’ve learned is that acne treatment is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. It took some time, patience, and trial and error for us to figure out what worked best for my skin, but we finally got there! I can proudly say I have ZERO bumps on my face, and we’re now working on my hyperpigmentation! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well.
