I had a wonderful experience at Dr. O’Neill’s office. It is rare to find a doctor's office that runs so perfectly on schedule! My appointment was at 2:00 PM, I was called in right at 2:00 PM, and Dr. O’Neill walked in just five minutes later. He was extremely professional during our consultation and removed a skin growth on my arm. They explained every step of the procedure beforehand, the nursing staff was great and the procedure entirely painless. Before leaving, I was given clear, excellent aftercare instructions. I highly recommend Dr. O’Neill and his fantastic staff!

My teenager has been experiencing some treatment-resistant acne, for which her pediatrician referred her to dermatology after exhausting the usual suspects of medication combos. My kiddo has been to a couple of previous (male) providers who just didn't make her feel comfortable, or like she was part of the treatment plan being discussed. We ended up seeing Semhar Mekonen, APRN, with Academic Alliance in Dermatology in Countryside, and couldn't be happier! She was very kind and understanding, and we really felt like we had a tx plan in place moving forward. My kiddo is also 17 and able to go to her checkups solo if needed.

The wait for the doctor after going back to the exam room was a little too long, but everything else went well and the visit was very good overall.

Any doctor I've seen for any issue is super knowledgeable and really professional and nice when they take care of me. It's a great place, and I would never try anywhere else.

I can't thank this office enough I had to pay out of pocket to get diagnosed and to get a biopsy and the rates were very reasonable for someone with no insurance I'm extremely thankful for that. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma Dr Johnson and his team did a fabulous job of treating it it was a painless procedure done reasonably quick and I feel very good about it I'm extremely thankful for Dr Johnson and his team. I would recommend this place to a family member or friend they are fabulous. Good communication aggressive with getting insurance situated and really good about getting an appointment as soon as possible

I have been to several dermatologist that just wasted my time. But they sure charged. Then I found Dr. Miller and my world turned around. Dr. Miller took my case of blisters just come up on my body any and everywhere. No Dr. military or civilian could treat me without coming up with O results. Then I found Dr. Miller at Carolina Skin Care. I had to drive aways but Dr. Miller was the one that cares about her patient's. She took biopsies from my blister and started out to find out what I had. Dr. Miller never gave up. Even working on weekends searching & testing until she came up with a diagnosis . I just figured this was something from the war ( my team was hit with mustard gas) Dr.. Miller stayed at it. After different antibiotics she hit the jackpot. It has been several months and I'm still blister fee. Dr. Miller I'm sure makes the top dollar. She should she really takes on a personal determination to help her patient's. For me she is the most knowledgeable dermatologist that is out there. Dr. Miller you are a saint. I wouldn't go to ANY dermatologist just to Dr. Miller.

My first experience visiting Carolina Skin Care was excellent. Dr. Ghee was wonderful—patient and kind. She listened to my concerns, and the treatment she prescribed for my skin has already shown improvements within just a few days. The staff was incredibly friendly and very professional. Dr. Rice and staff are excellent. I drive an extra 20 min. to go to this location because my appointments are generally on time, the staff is great and the exam chairs are so much better than other locations.

I could not get an appointment at the office in Shallotte where I am a current patient until my next skin check appointment which was another 3 months away. After 2 calls for appointments, they suggested there was an opening at Whiteville. After a 50 minute drive, I was seen by Sydney Pierce, P.A. and she biopsied a possible squamous cell ca on my arm. I was back on the road in 20 minutes. Sydney was great! I appreciate the opportunity to be seen in Whiteville! I will probably make the trip back to Whiteville for treatment. They need more staff in Shallotte but Atlantic Derm in Whiteville was great!

Great service friendly staff

Today’s visit was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes in the lobby, and the front desk staff were, as always, very friendly and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Matthew Zook for the scheduled removal of a cyst above our three-year-old son’s eye. Both Dr. Zook and his assistant were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. As fairly anxious parents with a language barrier, we had many questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them without hesitation, making us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire visit. The procedure itself was very quick. Our son only shed two tears — honestly, my husband and I were much more nervous than he was! After the procedure, we were given clear instructions for aftercare, a prescription for an ointment, and reassurance that everything had gone very well. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which should be available in about 10 days. Thank you to Dr. Zook and his assistant for their professionalism, expertise, compassion, and excellent care. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Pleasant experience overall. My doctor was Nikki she was quick but made me feel like she cared. And she touched me without gloves and that made me feel better like I didn't have the plague. overall -very nice experience. I felt uncomfortable about getting undressed for the full body check but she made it a breeze my prescriptions were delivered to me and I am very happy and will return. The front desk was nice and oh they will get that co pay from you on the spot so have that money.

Dr Sabini is an amazing dr. She’s very thorough and found a very tiny melanoma and I’m not sure anyone else would have !!

Zoe was the ARNP whom I saw at the Academy? She is kind professional considerate courteous. Tells me what she's going to do.. Never hurts me and really cares about me.... Even when she's super busy, she takes her time and make sure she does not miss anything on my body that needs attention.Thank you Zoe..... And the staff there is very sweet. Sometimes i'm very talkative, I guess i'm nervous and they make me feel comfortable, even though I talk a lot, they always seem to know the right things to say I think they know i'm a little anxious...... Madison, who works with Zoe.... Is the most sweetest person there can making sure I know what to do when I get hom.....because of the treatment that was just done......

Before seeing her, I honestly didn’t know how to properly care for my skin, but she educated me step by step and recommended the right treatments for me. I had a peeling treatment and other procedures, and my face looks completely different—in the best way. I joke that she took at least 10 years off my face! Beyond the results, her professionalism and care truly stand out. She has helped restore my confidence, and any woman knows how valuable that is. I highly recommend her.

One of the best medical offices I’ve ever been to. Front desk was thorough friendly and professional. Nurse Peaches was caring and listened and explained things. Dr Haibo was fantastic!!! He knew what he was doing and explained so well. Asked several times if there was anything else he could do (he asked several times cuz I kept asking him things as they popped in my head) Highly recommend this hidden gem in Clinton. Best dermatologist I’ve been to. Worth the higher copay I had to pay to not use the other one.

The wait for getting an appointment was must faster

It took 3 months to get an appointment, but I wasn’t in a hurry anyway. I can see why now, they are very busy. Even though they were busy I was taken in for my exam at my appointed time and was treated very friendly by the doctor, her assistant and the office staff. A wonderful experience.

I was greeted with a warm smile. My experience was very comforting because I truly felt that my condition mattered to them and I really felt heard. Awesome level of care.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Kang for over 15 years at AA Dermatology. It's a little tougher to get in quickly to see him as he's usually booked at least 3 weeks out, but he's worth the wait if it's not urgent. The office staff is pleasant but I wait at least 10 minutes on hold every time calling the office before I am able to speak with someone. Overall, it's a great office experience and we will continue to see Dr. Kang.

My visits are for skin cancer screenings because of my history. I visit the Charlotte/pineville area location specifically to see Dr April B******. So I’m a honest reviewer. If they don’t earn it I don’t just give 5 stars. This place deserves 10! So so pleasant. My son sees PA Brittany and she is so wonderful. So kind, she listens very well, she thoroughly answers and explains things wonderfully. She has helped my son with his hormonal and bacterial acne so much. We have nothing negative to say about this place. Also- they are very good with getting you in at your appointment time.

Finding a place with a dermatologist, surgeon, and Photo Dynamic Therapy expert in the same building is a major plus. I've now seen Dr. Kushner to check out my skin issues three times and I find his upbeat personality, professionalism, expertise, and ability to communicate issues all to be top-notch. His assistants have all proven to be friendly and also very professional. I've also had four sessions of PTD (light treatment of pre-cancerous cells) which, while very uncomfortable for a few minutes, has proven to be much easier to go through because of the expertise and warmth of Kate. She's wonderful! In addition, the entire center is clean, comfortable and has plenty of snacks and drinks to enjoy while you wait. Sean Kelly Southampton

Such a great practice! I felt valued from the moment I entered until I left. Everyone really cared about my treatment. Everyone listened to and addressed any concerns that I had. Absolutely love Dr. Suarez. My husband and I drive up from eastern NC twice a year because she gives care that’s superior to what we have here. I’ve had two basal cell spots that Dr. Suarez has caught…and she recommended an excellent surgeon for Mohs procedure (Jason Marquart).

Dr.Hartley is a very knowledgeable and caring physician always a pleasure to interact with him.
